No subtitles though...

I think it actually contains more gems ( from a technical standpoint) than the documentary itself : about crunching numbers, frequencies, players tendancies and leaks, dynamics.

Summary : everyone was underbluffing a lot of spots back then ; Luneau and Sabic massively exploited this and basically got away with murder.

Most opponents were feel players : Luneau studied a lot of spots , whose outcome and solutions could definitely not be found instinctively.

Most opponents were too loose pre , too weak tight on later streets.

A lot of their adversaries made a lot of money in mixed games from 2008 through 2011 but fell behind the curve at this point ( 2014) : Gus, Ivey, Antonius ( who was still okayish).

Luneau admits to being a fish in live settings. He would never play live some guys he beat online ( example is Oppenheim) : one good live read every 100 hands from this kind of player would destroy his winrate.
are the english subtitles for this anywhere, or at least a french transcript i could pop into google translate?

It's been 5+ years since I've watched this documentary, but I think it probably should have been titled...

"Bumhunting Gus Hansen"

On YouTube you can do autogenerate captions, then choose to autotranslate. You get some rather funky results though, e.g.
