Yeah but that's still only 6400USD pre flop so 2m USD is a tear. From what I hear private games play far higher - here in HK we often play ante only NLH - Tom Hall was saying they play 20,000HKD (2500USD) ante only NLH in Macau at times.

That means 15000USD pre deal assuming 6 Max. Seems more likely you go on a 2 mega USD tear from there - but think with blinds they play higher anyway.

If you're interested - divide any HKD amount by 8 for USD
(Tip: Halve, halve and halve again) for a very close approximation.

Divide by 12 for GBP

Divide by 10 for Euro

Multiply by 4 for Thai Baht

Equal to South African Rand

#Currencies I live my life in, in rando order.

With all the power of the internetz you are still sixty six thousand United States Dollars and change out.

Try XE.com in future - where did you make that number up from?

Basically the HKD is currently pegged via monetary intervention at 7.8 = 1 USD

Flop: Ad 4s 5s

Ivey leads, AB raises, Ivey 3bets, AB 4bets, Ivey calls.

Turn: Ad 4s 5s Kc

Ivey checks, AB checks

River: Ad 4s 5s Kc Ah

Ivey checks, AB bets, Ivey raises, AB folds, LOL.

Phuong said AB claimed to have 7s6s.

I was just in the Starworld where they were just starting a $5,000/$10,000 HKD game. Guy Laliberté was there with a hot girl on his side and I saw Johnny Chan sitting. They were just setting up the table but one of the guys from the casino brought in a wooden box with more plaques of $500,000HKD and $100,000HKD than I've ever seen before in one place.

I left after that but heard from my friend who was playing a HKD$1.000 sit&go that Antonius tried to get in but wasn't allowed. He told me that he was watching a hand where a good American player (he recognized him but didn't knew his name) got allin on the flop for a $3 million HKD pot with ace-koning versus jack-ten on three-eight-nine. Two bricks later he scooped the pot and the Chinese businessman reloaded by getting some plaques from his side-table where he had a total of HKD$7,000,000 laying around. Also heard, from a very reputable guy, that foreigners have to pay back 20% of their winnings in some cases to the casino.

The games here are truly sick. The biggest they have running in The Wynn is $300/$600 HKD but it's pretty deep. Venetian and Grand Lisboa have no bigger games than $100/$200 that I've seen or heard of.

What would be incredible is if someone wrote down every detail of the hands and then put that information into a hand player. It's obviously a lot to ask.

Maybe one of the ways that this could be done is if someone could ask security to let them in their booth to write down the content of the hands by going over the video.

0% chance that the players would be ok with that.
