where's luckyjimm in all of this? sending shaundeeb is a big mistake...should go with a broke writer who hasn't seen this lifestyle before if kevmath is still hesitant.

...and lol at all these guys coming out of the woodwork looking for a paid vacation

While still playing nosebleeds, he also stepped down to lower levels to recoup his losses, as low as 25/50 where he hadn't been seen for years. Also it's been confirmed that he didn't have all of his action against isildur1; FWIW his stakers, who got noticeably hurt by said $5M beating, had considerably higher winnings than durrrr as per HSDB before the $5M loss took place.

he stakes a lot of players .. he plays live all year long .. he got an FT share ..
He (supposedly) had his FT share even before the isildur battle. Why would he sell action if he was comfortably rolled for the game?

and besides, tracking sites are not accurate at all lol
While he might make profit on the games that aren't tracked or reported (be it live or online), it's not self-evident.

just as an example.. all my games should be tracked.. but tracking sites show my roll as beeing less than 1/4 of what it is
The bolded text is my commentary. Not saying he isn't rolled but you didn't make exactly a super convincing case for it.

Also LOL at the irony of kevmath BEING a statistic. You know, the one about number of Americans that don't have a passport.

Luckyjimm could be good tho prob conflict of interest(?) also he'll become even more cocky!!!

Jimmylegs is a good shout also the dude who did the John Dolan story, at least we will get DETAIL from him, along with a really well written report/write up.

Otherwise, meh, whatever!!

Thanks for the love. Wish this was something I could do (sounds like an amazing opportunity mince I love to travel, write, and play poker) I'll actually be in HK/SE Asia sometime in early 2011 but right now I'm focused on finishing school. Hopefully poker will still be booming and Tom can show me around a bit when I'm there

Kevmath would get my vote

My 2nd vote would go to 2p2er jjyykk but I think he has law school obligatiosns (not sure what your offer is, but I couldn't think of a more perfect person for this job)

Is someone in authority going to make an executive decision? It's all well and good if we all sit around nominating people, but if no one is in a position to make the final decision then we end up wasting valuable travel/prep time. And there's high stakes games to rail, dangit! If we leave it up to a committee we'll likely waste the window of opportunity.

Also, after further consideration I've realized there's no way I'd be able to go on such short notice. So I'm not suggesting The Decider should pick me, just that SOMEONE needs to be picked.

I'm too lazy to search but I believe earlier itt Tom indicated that they were going to select someone from the PM's they received. So, the last 100 or so postings with 'votes' for certain people seem to have been for naught.

Not that they are bad people but lets be real here. If Tom wants to give an awesome trip away to a 2p2 mod then good for him, but for seriously don't expect much back in the way of content.
you're only saying this because you prob psot stupid crap that gets deleted every day

According to HSDB, Dwan and the businessman are playing under the condition that both players have to turn their cards face up at the end of each hand regardless of showdown or not.

Therefore no more photos please

I will be able to take a Mod in to see what's going on but certainly no pictures will be allowed.
You basically already exploited their identity no? Earlier you described them as "Chinese Business Men" who were involved in the gambling, you say "gaming" industry. This tells me they must live/work in Macau?

Please tell me more stories about mainland Chinese battiling durr and ivey? This would be even more of interest

ok i've been trolling this thread for the past week and this is just so sick

i was just wondering though -- how does not having 100% of your action affect the risk you can afford to take with your bankroll?
does having only 50% of your own action mean you can play twice as high?
assuming the ability to beat the game, of course
