lol wow, this thread now has the chance to reach insane heights.

Kevmath is the obvious choice but I think the most important part of this is getting someone there asap.

Much thanks to Tom and whoever else has been updating this thread.

Look into passport rush services. It can be very fast, as long as you're willing to pay...which, you are! Macau poker sponserz rule.

Although I am neither well-known nor a mod at 2+2, I like to throw myself in ring for consideration. I am bilingually fluent in English and Cantonese, I write well, can get up and go immediately and bring 2+2 some hard-hitting insider journalism on the macau big game and the macau experience.

I'm humbled by the nomination - thanks David. But to be fair I didn't write Jackie Mayfair or The Raven - 2p2er 'defenestrate' did that. On the other hand I am a writer and would definitely figure out a way to go if it came down to that, but somehow I doubt I'll be a top vote-getter.

Good luck to whoever does go!

just re-read Page 9.

Gav800 nominates himself. Not expecting any love at all as I get flamed excessively on here (justified prob).

- Loves poker
- Good at writing
- Can stay up for v. long periods (i.e. trolling a 36hr hu session)
- Will snap-call and fly out immediately
- From Lolstralia, so not as far to fly (maybe idk)
- Will also stop in Bangkok on the way home and report on Pooter for 4L lovers

don't pay a third-party to expedite your passport...burning money...If you want a passport same-day schedule an appointment at your nearest passport agency and go in person...Also if you call your local Congressman's local office they will write the nearest passport agency, and if you call your Congressman's office early they generally can get you in same day. (only caveat is that you need proof of travel, e.g. tickets, before they will let you expedite it same-day.)

Either that, or we send Pooter to Macau!

We all know that kids got epic writing ability and I think he would probably present well in person, despite his extra curricular activities.

Hi Tom (Hall),

Not sure if this is the place to ask these kinds of questions but you may or may not know that this thread is appearing in mainstream media, poker and otherwise. We are also in the gaming media business and have done some research, and for those of you who don’t know, Tom is one of the gaming industry heavy weights and appears at conferences all over the world, we also came up with this list of questions from our research, and wondered if you wouldn’t mind answering some of them?!

1. How come you have got involved in this particular thread on 2+2 ? You don’t seem to have any history of posting on forums. Why 2+2, is it a site you visit often?
2. Are there equivalents to 2+2 in Asia, are you posting elsewhere re this game?
3. What’s it like spending time with poker legends like Phil Ivey and Tom Dwan?
4. Who are your favorite poker players and why?
5. What’s the funniest thing you have ever seen at a poker table?
6. One of your Companies sponsors the Poker Pack, a team of pro players from the US, why did you do this, was it a successful strategy?
7. You also control the Asian Poker Tour, why did you decide to start this tour up?
8. You are known for your opinionated views (usually accurate) on the online gaming industry – what are your thoughts on online poker developments going forward, what’s happening in online gaming in Asia?
9. We hear you are very superstitious, is this true?
10. We hear you once had a boxing match with Chino Rheem, is it true and what’s the story behind this, doesn’t seem fair you are an international rugby player and he’s tiny?

I hope none of these are out of context but would love to get more insight from you.

I nominate LuckyJim, might have to clean up after him a bit after he sees the HS action but his blog will be pretty good.
