Pretty amazing to hear this. I was in Macau in 2007 during the Venetian's Grand Opening and there wasn't a poker table in sight.

Think about the big picture please. You cant just come and rob people of their money. At least if you ever wanna play them again.
Those players often keeps games going, games where they dont expect to win very much and are waiting for a fish to drop in occasionally.[/QUOTE]

Think about the big picture please. You cant just come and lose your money to world premium players especially when you're a successful businessman, so you're a shark by nature, plus a chinese one ( ***** greedy nits), even though i can't think a second that the hustler numero uno ivey can enter a game where he's not a big bi favorite, so there's actually two solutions here, all the game is faire, or it's a 4v4. 4v4 is more likely to me as no one want to be hustled.

Why would they care about getting hustled if they like playing poker, like playing with the biggest names in the world (or atleast the ability to brag about it afterwards) and probably got enough millions in the bank to give a **** about any amount they'll lose.

Imagine this happens to you in a $5K event. Dwan comes running in, takes his seat, insta moves on you w T4 off to deliberately bust, but fails to do and you both go "Oh FFS!"

Why can't we get stakes like this on HSP or something...

I'm sure it went something like "alright john u can win big the first night because you are asian and me and durrrr will take a bit of a loss." "then we ask them to double the blinds when they are up and take everything"

Classic ivey hustle imo

the dynamic of the FT boys vs. Asian business men seems pretty interesting... I wonder how much friendly play there is amongst the FT boys in this particular game? Cuz at the end of the day it still is everyman for himself...

Since it is only NL Holdem I would think that especially Giang is there mainly as sort of a mediator and does not have 100% on himself.

Thats is just me guessing though because he is not really known for a great NL game. But he could also be degen enough to take a shot here with the limit winning he has.

chau has a remarkable record as a degen, he wouldn't pass up those stakes for the world in fact he's probably the guy pushing to up the stakes.
