Chinese poker player with 10 bracelets.
Remember the game is in Macau. I expect JC's status is far higher there than it would be in America or Europe. Whilst many on this forum may view him as a bit a live nit, he probably has legend/god-like status in other circles.

I dont think Guy would care about losing a lot to a certain player. It's far more likely that they had a dispute at the table and that Patrik (instead of agreeing with the fish) did something that ended up pissing Guy off. This could be about anything.

PA was a known multi-accounter on FTP before he was sponsored. Guy is the biggest loser in FTP history.

He's also probably not fun in terms of table chat. A nit who doesn't talk at the table, who wants that in the games when they can get someone else who'll chat and gamble it up?

Its a deal with the casino's (a fee to let them into the juicy games), not with the players.

There is no 20% deal with the casino or anything like that between the room/casino and players. There is a lot of staking / piecing out going on (which is understandable at the stakes being played) amongst the younger players (whether they are Asian or Western) that get to sit in the big games.

this is strange , they both are pretty good friends and besides that Guy is such of class act , don't think he will ever refuse any1 in any kind of game.

Is MacauPro by saying " Guy " not referring to one of the business "guys " ?

Please confirm MacauPro .

Well going back to hk after a short and unfortunately losing session. Playing 5k, 10k blinds. Was up, then got stacked. Tom dwan and sam trickett were in the game with myself and the regulars and both doing well. Got durrrred once on the river by mr dwan in a pretty big pot, luckily took insurance that saved me. I overshoved with middle set and got called by tom with a big flush draw and he got there on the river. Fun evening though, sam is running on pure red bull I think . Sorry about the typos, typing on BB on the ferry

I suppose you would know, however I have heard from people who would know that this does happen in some China games (although this was not in regard to your game, and I did not hear 20%).

Johnny was there but wasn't playing when I was in the game. The table said Phil was playing PLO at Wynn casino.

Am off traveling for a while now so will leave to somebody else to update on macau.

"Some China games" refers, I suspect, to illegal games run out of someone's apartment on the mainland rather than a casino in Macau.
