Noone has refuted any of my posts thus far. I dont really need to prove anything to anyone, most of the people here in macau know me and can vouch for me, thats all that matters.

I was talking to Tom Hall today and while he was away from his computer he told me to post our discussion.

The game broke last night after a mammoth near 48 hour session where it started 5-6 handed, was HU for a while and then others joined again at the end. The game would have broken today anyway as some of the principals are going out of town for a week, we expect it to resume in a week or so. Phil and Durrrr both ended up overall for the trip and am sure will be looking forward to an invite back. Dwan expected to relax in Asia for a few days before heading back to the US.

He was somewhat surprised at the tone of a lot of the posts on the forum but as he said “I guess it’s all about free speech and opinion on a forum and that sometimes doesn’t marry too well with the practicalities of fact and the real world. Anyway we tried to bring 2+2 and the poker world a flavor of what was happening here in Asia and let’s see what the next installment brings.” Tom is also going to still bring the moderator over but we will time this to when either KevMath has a passport or someone else can come over when the big name pros are back in town for the game.

He is doing an interview about the games, this thread, and poker in Asia this week so I will put it up when he emails it to me.

For now it looks like the game will be on break, at least for the US visitors.

I've been following this thread off an on since APT. I have been meaning to make a post here as I currently reside in China near Macau and happened to be at Hard Rock the night the first big game begun with Juanda, Dwan, Ivey, etc.

I am not an insider, but it was exciting to see all these big name players who I would normally would only see in Las Vegas or TV. Around 12:00 AM we saw a bunch of very hot woman walking towards the casino and one of them came to a player on the low stakes table next to me and started talking about how Dwan and Ivey are setting up a game.

Shortly after that I see Johnny Chan walking thru the poker room to the VIP section and more hot woman go across. Eventually the game began and basically everything for us low stakes people stopped. It was difficult to get a seat at any of the tables, service from the waitresses, cigs, or booze. Okay, first time you got the big names in Macau so I can forgive it.

I kept playing my game and saw Dwan walk by to hit the john or walk around the casino a few times in the night. Any time I got bored with my game I'd walk over to the poker bar next to the VIP table and kind of glance at the nosebleed stakes and the huge chip stacks.

I must tell you, since this is not vegas and Hard Rock is one of the new Poker rooms here in Macau, the VIP table was by no means secluded. It was very easy to stand a few feet away and be a railbird and see these guys play as you were watching HSP on TV. I didn't want to be rude so I limited my rubbernecking when going there, it was just cool to see Ivey or Dwan throw in 50,000 HKD into the pot on the turn only to have one of the Chinese businessmen dump his 2 Million HKD stack into the pot like dominoes falling in order.

Overall, it seemed like Dwan and Ivery were stuck a bit that first night because the game truly never ended. I was there from 12:00 AM when they began, went to be around 10:00 AM (at this point Dwan decided to talk a long break and walk around the hard rock) When I came back down the following afternoon at 3:00 PM we see Dwan and Ivey still there grinding it out.

Anyways, I was there the rest of the weekend, the big boys didn't come back to Hard Rock and that night itself reps from Wynn Macau, Lisboa, and Starworld I believe were there trying to poach the players to come to their casino.

Overall, I have been here in Macau well before the actual big name casinos were built let alone Poker was even running. To see it getting some proper action and a bigger community is very cool and exciting. If there are any more 2+2ers here in macau shoot me a message, we'll take the city by storm.

Signing off!

A quick round up after talking to various poker rooms, poker people in Macau. Tom Dwan finished the last HU session HK$60m+ up so net in the Heads Up sessions was over HK$40m up. Rumour is he had most of himself with smaller pieces out to a few friends and some Macau based guys.

Phil Ivey also left up in poker and apparently found some new guys to bet sports with (not unsurprising given the number of major bookies that are in and out of Macau the whole time). Johnny Chan and Chau Giang have also gone back to the US up for their trips. Big game takes a break this week back at the weekend.

Tom Dwan still in Asia probably going to visit a few other spots in the Far east and then back to Macau.

Durrrr is back in Macau and supposedly back in the game tonight, let the fun begin again

Quick update, visited Macau last night. The big game is back on and Durrrr and Mr "Urindanger" Dang both at the same table in Macau at Starworld. Durr was up small for the session and Urindanger was up around 4 million from what I could see. Apparently he lost the last time he was in Macau. Back to recoup!!
