I have no clue what section of the forum this goes in so I figured NVG may be best suitable. Yes, I searched topics and can't find an answer.

My problem is when trying to access 2+2 from any of my browsers, either Google Chrome or Firefox I get an error message saying the site is down or the URL has changed. I was finally able to access but only by googling 2+2 and clicking on an archived thread that was listed.

Is this widespread or is there something on my end that may be causing this? My ISP is EPB and runs with fiber optics. Everything is super fast on my computer with the exception of 2+2 not loading.

Its because the server backs up its database from 7:00 to 7:15AM ET every day. The site is down for ~15 min.

No it wasn't the server save. It was going down for me as well, I thought it might be because of a load of people coming on for the PCA High Roller.

Nope. Didn't work. Cleared Google and Firefox. Still down, Maybe the DOJ has banned 2+2 for the Southeast United States.

Google doesn't have any special powers. What was the URL you normally use to try and access the 2p2?

http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com seem to work fine.

http://www.twoplustwo.com and http://twoplustwo.com return errors. I don't know if they've ever worked before. If they did (and they probably should) then it's either a dns or server misconfiguration.

I thought it was my crappy laptop or something causing this problem. Yr links dont work for me i have to google poker forums and access 2+2 like that as other have said for last few days. Never had this problem in 3 years iv been reading 2+2.

Yeah, I always access it from www.twoplustwo.com and have been going nuts since yesterday afternoon...like a bonehead, I didn't even try forumserver.twoplustwo.com 'til now. Duh.

I can confirm that those links posted do not work either... I, however, have the site bookmarked so I generally dont run into these problems. But to whoever said its banned in SE USA I just wanted to clear it up that its not working for me either (Canada)

Same here, I usually use www.twoplustwo.com and instead have to google it now.

Just posted a temporary bookmark which hopefully will make it easier...
