Lol the one with Berkey was probably legit because Nik was that delusional back then. He has played poker for a long time now and knows hes not that good. If a match like this goes through its going to be 100% fake AND rigged in some way - like not real stakes, and trying to scam prop bettors.

On the streams this week Nik looks like he's busto. Playing super tight, fidgety, looks down bad.

Constantly bitching that players are "Sniping" and trying too hard to win, lol.
He's just a below average player who can't win in lineups where people are "trying"

You line up some whales who are gonna stick in 300 bigs with A7 for the luls I'm sure he can break even or win small.

has poker ever seen such a public downfall of someone showing up, running up a few hundred 6 mostly via cold decking people - doing a big podcast/media blitz proclaiming himself to be a professional, getting fan threads made about him, then the first time he faces a decent player in berkey he just gets curb stomped and then from there on just continues to lose piles and is possibly slowly becoming aware he's one of the whales the games run around?

All the time. Minus going on podcasts to publicize it. For as long as poker has existed, and at all stake levels, this happens all the time. Someone has a few big wins and starts shooting off their mouth about how great they are, and daydreaming about being rich from playing poker one session a week or one hour a day online, and in their mind they are spending that money and enjoying that lifestyle... and then they lose it all. Some go back to whatever they were doing before poker, some become degenerate losers for years/life, and a very few bounce back and become winners at poker. Thus it has always been.

none of these guys ever claimed to be professional players as far as i know

jamie was a movie producer who played high stakes for fun doing stupid stuff like playing with 1 card exposed - he was never a "pro poker player"

wesley has always been a crypto scammer and never claimed to be a poker pro

mikki has always been a trust fund kid scamming people claiming he's an ap in baccarat, he's basically broke at this point and has been the shortest stack playing the most scared of anyone at all the soft games he played, even pocketing a few hundred in chips when he busts claiming he needed it for gas to get home

Hand range is the least of his problems, he plays everything just wrong. Any winning reg could play 100% vpip vs him and still win.
