These guys are the best commentator duo in the business and it’s not even close.

They have good chemistry, both of them insert proper amount of humour into the mix into these marathon Triton Series that could otherwise be a bit boring to watch otherwise.

Both can take a joke also and don’t get offended like Nanonoko for example.

I think what made Gabe and AJ Benza great was the humour and that’s what has beeb missing from poker streams.

Schulman is an all-time best color commentator and can carry anyone.

I'm just so happy Lew and Ho are not commentating anymore. They should at ept where the game is at the same level with their commentating. Or if they are I have luckily managed to miss them. It was so annoying that level of game and miles behind commentary.

Nick is the best in the biz. Not a huge fan of Will - feels like he's trying to hard to be funny too often. But anyone is an improvement over Nano

Nick is the goat. Rast is a close second. I don't care for Jaffe........feel like he would be better commentating cash games. Kilbane is great. Ali is cringey as hell but him and Nick have a good dynamic. Ali/Nick and Rast/Kilbane would be a great Triton tag team.

Does Jaffe know anything about NL or mtts? Never got the impression that he knew much, just that he’s a funny Twitter personality. You could put a monkey next to Schulman and they would be in the running for best commentator duo. Personally, I like Maria. Maybe her game knowledge isn’t tip top but it’s fine and still better than anyone else outside Schulman and Kilbane imo.

Jaffe was funny as a Twitter guy but for me it ends there.

Agreed, specially Schulman is absolute nuts as poker commentator.

Nick is amazing as always, and I get that Ali may not be for everyone but I think he's excellent at what he does and complements Nick really well. To me Ali+Nick is the goat pairing.

I've been pretty impressed with Rast as well. Seems clear the dude still actively studies the game despite being around for a long time. Lots of good insights from him.

I feel like Will is stuck not knowing if he should be just calling the action vs providing analysis vs being the funny guy and he ends up doing a bit too much. Also felt like he was doing an Ali impersonation at times with his delivery during the last stream which didn't feel authentic. Its his first Triton though so I'll cut him a bit of slack. All things considered I think he's been pretty solid and can improve. I do expect they'll replace him with Maria again on the next stop though.

MTTs are not fun to watch anymore. Between the constant tanking and players staring at each other like weirdos it dosen't have that excitement anymore. Then throw in the "new crop" of commentators and its just a bad product. They whisper the commentary like it's the Westminster dog show. Ali, Ho and Jaffe are the absolute worst. Nick Shulman is a breath of fresh air nowadays. I like his takes on situational play his color commentary is great as well.

Hope they do that hour long segment again this year with Jaffe and Nikki Limo each day leading up to the PokerGo coverage of live WSOP events.

For my taste, Jaffe has too much to say and talks strategy when I want to hear Nick do it. So I'm with the crowd that like Nick paired with Ali as the best team in tournament broadcasting. Rast is outstanding as well, paired with either Ali or Henry Kilbane.

Yes it was. After about 30 min I just turned it off.

I thought it was pretty funny when Ali tried to make a point about a heckklen being more likely to hold J8 vs KJ and nick points out this can't be possible as J8 is not in the UTG open range and the other guy had an 8 too lol
