I emailed support with a question and the sig in their reply said:

"Get it in bad and no one can suck out on you"

which I thought was mildly amusing.

So, brownie points for that.

Even so, I don't think I'll be goofing around with this site. There was $$ to be made for early entrants but I was too busy on Day 1 and it's probably gonna be pointless real soon now.

I deposited $23 in my Dwolla account which should clear on August 22. I plan on upgrading to the $22 monthly subscription, and see how well that goes.

Inflation is through the roof. The lowest accepted bid is already up 150% and the % of players that won a piece of the prize pool dropped from about 51% to about 14%. It's only the 3rd day. Anybody that didn't win the auction today or yesterday is going to spank the bid. I expect the lowest accepted bid to be higher than 50 for tomorrow's auction. It will hit 100 before you can say "back to Intertops".

i'm gonna just play when i'm bored and try to grow a play chip br treat them as such and maybe sell them when i get a lot and the price stabilizes instead of trying to stress out for 25$ish which is prob gonna be only worth 10 tomorrow whatever. I missed the boat for the early birds but that doesn't mean there isn't value in thinking long term for this thing.

can you sign up, and just log in everyday to get your 400 chips? So at like the end of the month youve got 12K and never even played a hand?

No. You can get "topped-up" to 400 chips once a day. If at the end of the day you have 100 chips you can get topped up with 300 to make the 400

If you have more than 400 chips you don't get any extra.

And it's 400 for free only during the intro week. After that free players get topped up to 200 but subscribers still get the 400.

If i understand correctly there is a monthly allocation of chips no matter what your BR is. 400 for free players and 1600 for subscribers.

sounds like subscription poker. Lot of sub sites went out of business without paying its members although 100 percent legal.

I agree. I got greedy last times and I keep getting off by just a few auction points. Next time I am going to force my way and bid all my chips for like $5 or something.

if paypal is not on board should be more skeptical? Almost seems like paypal is a weird barometer for business legality in the US. If paypal does not let the business process money then the area is probably super grey. Love Dwolla though and they should probably offer a bitcoin option or something along those line also. Time to play some PLO for play LiveAce money! Site did not take long to sign up for.

I wonder how much chip dumping is going on to create live chips?

I tried this site out this morning and became frustrated because the game crashed every other hand.

I came on this thread and saw Lori's suggestion about using Firefox or Chrome. I switched to Chrome and have not had any problems since.

You may want to note that on your website. I was just about to give up completely so I can imagine other IE users are giving up as well.

I think liveace gave me viruses.... I just don't see what else it would be. It keeps randomly closing out of my poker sessions on the site and it's changing my home page to AVG.com and new tabs to AVG.com and they try to make you download more bull****.. Has anybody else had this problem or am I just mistaken?

if 30 is enough of a bid to win isnt it right now just free cash each day? like just take the 400 chips you have each day and use them at 50 and you get $8/day for like 1 minute work?

No. You get 400 regular chips a day (200 after week 1). If you take 100 regular chips to a table and leave with 150, you have 100 regular and 50 live chips. Live chips can be brought to the tables or used at auctions. Regular is only for tables.

oh... ok thanks

i still would have thought that taking those chips to a table and jamming every hand before applying the above strategy would be an ok hourly rate for goldfarmers etc, at least early on

I saw a few people trying this, but there are enough good players on there that ppl were just folding pre, then waiting and picking them off, so it didn't work out very well for them.

I tried my first bid yesterday and will see if it goes thru in a few hours. I bid 1,000 at 35.7. I guess if it's accepted, I may open a Dwolla acct and mess around there for awhile and see how it goes. The software is pretty buggy still, but hopefully it'll improve.

I did notice my laptop acts like it's having a heart attack when I 2-table and a bit when I'm only on one table. The fan keeps going off and on and runs like crazy. I have Norton, so maybe it's busy blocking?? I'm using Chrome.

So many ridiculous bugs that I can't really take this seriously. I mean is this a beta test or just one giant level or something?
