A sitcom about poker players sounds like a terrible idea to be honest and something that would be incredibly difficult to do well. I like the people behind this and I enjoyed Bet Raise Fold, but they would have to be insanely talented to make the concept work imo.
I haven't bothered watching the clips but I don't think it's really a big deal.
It's a sitcom, I think all it requires are personalities in a situation that showcases their individual quirks or w/e. Friends was about a bunch of people who hang out in a coffee shop and their apartments.
It shouldn't cater to poker players considering they make up like .0001% of a general viewing audience anyways, maybe a higher % of the ppl willing to watch the show initially out of interest I guess, but on streaming services like netflix ppl will give a lot of random crap a chance, moreso than on network television so I think ppl may watch an episode or two to see what's up.
The show shouldn't be, and I can't imagine it would be, about poker/poker lifestyle, you think being a litigation attorney is anything like suits? cause it's not
