NVG has became a place for disgruntled grinders to bump threads about how unfair poker rooms treat them ... you will find real news in between, but most of them will land on page 2 after a few days

@ LuckBoxes ... saw it a few days ago and the trailer/teasers are promising. BUT ryan is looking for a tv network to buy it. so while some media outlets reports stuff, that make it sound you can watch it soon, the reality is, chance are good no one will ever see the pilot and there will be no additional episodes ... but fingers crossed

That's what people said about a physicists sitcom, worked out pretty well for them..

Watch those clips. They are horrible beyond belief.

I like the idea, I will def watch the show and support it. Lead female character is def playing a version of Cate Hall.

I like how the trailer has so many old school online poker references in it

I know we have many professional TV watchers/critics/experts here on the forums who will only find bad to say about it

Did anybody really say that? The premise/jokes aren't that they're physicists, it's that they're nerds.

And that show is also terrible.

In order to work, I think it would be best to have stereotypical poker players as the characters. Just off the top of my head:

-The anti-social outcast that always wears a hoodie, sunglasses, and headphones (I mean always wears them)

-The person who blows up every time something doesn't go his way, and always finds a way to blame someone for his misfortunes.

-The "gambler" who wants to bet on everything

-The fish who never knows what's going on but somehow crushes it.

god american sitcom humor is the nut low.

As far as poker shows go I though the show "luck" on HBO had some solid poker scenes even though it focused on horses the poker scenes where that jerry clown was blowing his 300k roll in a 10/20 game were gold the Chinese guy was great as well.

beale you aren't really proving the shows concept is poor, you're just kinda proving you aren't funny. I assume ppl with talent could/will do better
