you get automatically unregged or have to choose a game to sit out/cant play if you are at the time playing 4 tables and a 5th one pops up. Very easy. Think GG does it that way? Either way, extremely simple solution

Yes, GG has a solution. You have to choose the 4th table or close one table and open the 5th

You get blinded out of course on the 5th

But Pokerstars refuses to implement that. Support will unregister you if you win a sat and give you the ticket. But with phase tournaments and Day2s it is of course not possible. Then you are limited to 3 or less tables even. Therefore never play sats for tournaments coming in a couple of days...or phase tourneys

Now the way they set up their software for this, is once you are registered in 4 tournaments, it automatically views it as your table cap reached for the day. This includes games you may register for future events.

Say you made it through the first day of a phase scoop event. Today is the 17th, the next day for the phase scoop during this scoop would be the 30th. Then lets say on top of that you won three satellites to the scoop main events on the 29th. You are now unable to play on pokerstars for the remaining scoop events up until the 29th when you can play your scoop main events.

This is a terrible handling of the regulations, it limits the players even more than the regulations demand. They only demand you cant play more than 4 tables at a time. They dont say you cant be registered for other events in the future.

I guess I am one of the only few professional pokerplayers left in germany, so it may not concern that many, but how can you handle this situation so terribly to your own disadvantage as a company? Recreationals satellite to events as well etc.
They should program it so all satty games into a main game and any day 2 or 3 kind of thing is all the same game.

Did something change for winamax to operate in the german market? Does it mean Germany might join france and spain on their regulated market.

Issue was solved by Stars nice. I emailed them about this problem and they referred it to the team responsible. As far as I am aware they had not responded to me, however I can now play up to 4 tables even though im registered in future games.

Nope, still the same. Won a satty right now, can only play three tables now. "Cap reached" popup opens if I try to register for another tourney.

Kindred (Unibet etc) will close all its operations in Germany from 1 July.

This is stated by the company in an e-mail to Nyhetsbyrån Direkt.

"Kindred Group has made the difficult decision to withdraw its applications for sports book and virtual slot games in Germany, and to close down all operations in the German market from 1 July," the company writes.

Kindred further writes that the company's long-term strategy is that locally regulated markets are the core of growth, but licensing procedures, licensing conditions and regulatory environments need to be transparent, sustainable and financially viable for a market to be competitive.

The current application procedure, conditions and restrictions mean that the conditions according to Kindred are not sustainable compared to the unregulated alternatives.

"Therefore, we do not see the conditions for long-term shareholder value and customer experiences at the moment," Kindred writes, adding that this attitude may change later.

Kindred states that the application process for sports betting in Germany has been going on for over two years and that the company is now focusing on, among other things, growing in the North American market.

Does anyone know if a German account travels to other countries to play, since it would presumably be on a different client, are you about to deposit more money than the 1k a month? I assume that you would need to establish residence elsewhere but I am just curious if its possible for me to do this for WCOOP.

Cheers

You need residency in another country, as you expected. Really sucks to be a german poker player these days.

Anybodyy else living in Germany get this?

Hi XXX,

Unfortunately, from September 28, 2022, PokerStars Sports will no longer be available in your region.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

Here are some important details:

Your balance remains safe and secure, and you may withdraw your funds at any time. Our Poker and Vegas products remain unaffected
Any open sports selections you have on events that haven’t started at the time of the closure will be voided:
Open single bets will be voided, and stakes will be returned to your account.
Open multiple bets will have legs, where an official result is known, settled as per the official result and any open selections, where a result is not known, will be voided. Bets will then be paid out based on the revised odds of only settled legs.
Any StarsCoin you have may still be redeemed in the Rewards Store.

Please note, we are updating our End User License Agreement to reflect this change and you will be asked to accept the terms next time you login to your account.

It's never too late. Join the local Ortsverband of your preferred political party (preferably one that's winning) and get going.
