How would they know how much everyone is owed with these anyway?

Or does the $100 BR guy get the same amount as the $10k BR guy?

Hate to see Patrik Antonius there. I´m positive that he has nothing to do with this mess.

I'd say given the developments over the past 15-16 hours this does not help our cause.

I hope this bears no impact on the sale of full tilt. It's clear everyone just wants to see players funds returned and the sooner that can happen the better (stating the obvious I know but sometimes the obvious gets lost in the legal cloud of smoke)

Is this a good idea given we seem so close to a sale going through that guarantees the return of american funds?!?

i dont think this suit would affect any of what your are trying to mention.
It can always be withdrawn if FTP decides to sell their company and pay players. Until then why not let this ride

Takes a while to prepare a lawsuit likely the players mentioned began the process months ago.

Also the potential sale of FTP guarantees nothing. Hopefully the last two weeks have convinced FTP owners that their only "out" is to sell the company, lose majority ownership, and lose control of the company. Otherwise expect lawsuits like this to keep coming. If judge certifies it as a class action then law firm will reach out to players to form a class. Expect not 2 or 3 players to be named but thousands if not tens of thousands.

I have high hopes that the potential new owners will
a) settle w/ DOJ
b) return all player funds.

Any company interested in making money wants the drama, and bad headlines behind them. Settling up allows the company to move forward and start printing money. That being said it is no guarantee.

If they new owners pay players then the lawsuit will either be withdrawn or dismissed.
If they don't hell I may join the class action. 20cents, 30cents, 50 cents on the dollar is better than $0.

If they didn't want bad press they should have handled the situation better. It's not our job to have Full Tilt's back and make sure their deal goes through.

Scanned the document. Appears well written.

Are the plaintiffs opening themselves up to DOJ scrutiny?

As a class action suit who will respond to the allegations?

Does the suit have any chance of winning?

Are additional funds being requested beyond the account balances of ALL the FTP players around the world?

How will the Full Tilt team respond?

Let's go Poker News, Bluff, Card Player and even QuadJacks reporters, go get the interviews. Put Team Full Tilt on Tilt!
