time for my max heinzelmann story:

I sat at his table in a tournament shortly after he had some big wins and the hand against deeb, so everyone thought he was the **** and the next pokerstar. i knew that he sold some shares for 1.35mu

he comes about 4 hours too late, sits down and raises the first three hands. then he stands up and goes looking for a coffee. after he sits down again, he raises another two hands and then looks for one of the massage girls. after being unsuccessful, he plays maybe 10 more hands. then a very tight player (which he didnt know) in sb raises him to 3.5bb, he defends and it goes allin for about 80bb on a 532 flop. he shows T5o, other player shows aces.

thats when i thought that staking him probably wasnt a good idea. also by now i found out that a lot of live tournament pros behave like that, but thats a story for another day

I am very well aware of what I did, and yes I did lie to a lot of people about what I did just to cover up what I did. Im trying to figure out paying everyone back at this point and fixing and owning up to my mistakes. I dont ever expect to have anyone respecting me again or anything for what Ive done, and thats fine. Ive ****ed up and im very well aware of that. Ive made a lot of mistakes and Im ashamed of the way I handled it. Ill do my best to pay everyone back as quickly as I can and make sure that I own up to what ive done wrong.

Im in contact with the people that I owe money to and Im trying to correct this as quickly as I can.

As sad as it is, I find this post oddly straight-forward and refreshing after the Jesus freak dude.

pretty delusional to go thru the whole poker community trying to "reborrow" money. ppl were offering me live$ they traded of online$ with max or would get repayed by him in vegas (at first he wanted to come 2nd week, then 4th, then only for the main. i guess he never even made it to vegas.) he has pulled some other shady **** as well: a bunch of my friends had issues with him, being told of several dead grandma's and grandpa's up to the point where everybody thought that his moms death was just another disgusting lie. he also gave back 10k live cash with 600 Euro missing to someone who was just picking up the money. he also sold shares, cashed and basically never payed back (until ppl were threatening to out him). I'm sure i forgot about a bunch of stuff he tried to do/did.

but none the less, I guess it was/is just bad money management as it happens to a lot of ppl out there who cash huge. sure this doesnt justify any of his actions, but he sure deserves a 2nd chance, after he repays everyone.

He messaged me on FB as well and afterwards removed me. It seemed weird to me and at first I thought that maybe his account was hacked. It`s sad that you can`t trust anybody in the pokercommunity.

He was definitely in Vegas, he paid me on the 11th I believe.
