Considering he could have completely 'copped out' by not posting this thread at all, I'd have to disagree with your insinuation

For every horrible action, you owe a good kind hearted action back to someone in need.

Volunteer at an old folks home, help people on the street.
You owe a LOT. But you can give be forgiven by helping others the way you have harmed others in the past.

If you fail to change, I hope you burn in hell for eternity.
But if you repent completely and bring good into this world to people around you, from this moment forth, you are forgiven.
Thanks man! I will do this for you.

-$10,000 paid in full.

You are amazing.

You emailed me right? I'll let you know when I help someone in need and do in your name.

Awesome. Moving forward

1.) Him getting convicted would make it much easier to get a civil judgment in your favor.

2.) Hes likely going to revert back to his ways when he gets upset because God didnt bless him with something one day. I highly doubt he just all the sudden found Jesus and will be a good person the rest of his life.

3.) Him going to jail, with a huge NVG thread and all, would certainly decrease the amount of future scammers/scams. Part of the problem is the worst thing that ever happens in the poker world is some internet nerds make a thread about you. Hell if you ADMIT to STEALING 280k from people but say you found Jesus then well, OK, go on and try to do well and make some $ to pay people back. I mean its kinda ridiculous.

4.) Him spending jail time might actually make a change out of him other than his Jesus [likely] whim. If it's not a whim, then he'll pay you when he gets out. Maybe he'll get diagnosed and medicated for the mental illness he probably has.

Anyways, I think theres some upside with turning this over to the right channels and have him actually face some non-NVG style punishment. Or just let him do his airbrushing and hope he sticks with Jesus and continues to feel bad.

THIS.

Also, all the people saying he deserves jail, you are joking right? Howard lederer, Russ Hamilton, Chris Ferguson, Phil Hellmuth, Annie Duke, Rafe Furst, Ray Bitar and many others deserve jail over this guy and they, not only got away with stealing millions of dollars but will never see the inside of a jail cell and will never be brought to justice. As much as this guy is scum, at least he is owning up to his mistakes.

(Of course, lol at "Found god, no longer a scummy person").
This is a good post.

Those who had Lock stolen I think it's fair to pay back what the going market rate at that time which was .80. Some of the smaller ones I did later were worth as low as .65. I would offer 1:1 as a sign of good faith but I'm trying to keep this total figure reasonable and respectable because it is a true debt and I am nothing less than serious about paying it back.

Those who had Lock please email or post an amount that you think is fair for you and I Will secure that number.

This needs to be done Quickly so I can start a payment plan based on my current income.

Thanks.

I think Justin is being very brave here.

Pokerplayers are the ones taking advantages off each other at table. The ones who don't use huds, trackers, script seating are at an disadvantage. We all consider that to be normal.

Take that just one step forward. I'm no online wizard, have no idea how he did it but it seems like it all plain sailing if you could do what he did. And imagine if you were in his position?
It seems easy if you take it step by step.
What if you had a program to see the other players hold cards?
You would use it, take a 1000 dollars off other players.
You would get away with it. Next time 10K,...

Nobody here would confess (or even remorse) he stole 300K. Justin confessed and remorsed. That's a big hero call.

Stop trolling and being self righteous. Most posts were awful (address guy),
some post were hopefull (guy who got scammed and said he'd hope Justin would do good for other ppl from now on).

Good luck Justin.

I think anyone hoping to get repaid is hoping for a pipedream. This guy doesn't have the means or resources to pay anyone back. He's just here to clear his conscience. I'm sure there's someone behind the scenes that is trying to report this to authorities though. That's about as close to payback as anyone is going to get.

Hope you are the major inspiration of a lot of guys in this poker community.
And I believe you'll get punished what you did.

Daniel Colman was pretty spot on with his dark game.
