Go to www.pandora.com make a station called Shinedown and you are good to go--spice it up with some AC/DC if you like. If you are feeling kind of bluesy, make a station called Otis Taylor.

I actually think slow elevator music or classical helps you play better.

I find myself in a long loosing streak, and I keep increasing the aumount I end up loosing just due to tilt. Someone puts a beat on me, I tilt on all tables and then tilt\loose some more money playing super turbos or other stupid stuff.

Bob Dylan, Pink Floyd and Explosions in the Sky doesn't seem to work, at least not anymore.

wat? A couple ppl itt that actually know something about good music?

Everyone listen to Nashville Skyline by Bob Dylan, I promise you it is more relaxing than trance, lmao.

One great techno album I have to admit is Moon Safari by Air... I listen to that quite a bit.

Other than that I like to stick to music that is good and low key...
David Byrne, Johnny Cash, Badly Drawn Boy, Tom Petty, and Jimmy Cliff are some of my top picks at the moment.

I listen to Rhapsody on my Sonos music system and iphone when playing live. I suggest buying mp3s @ amazon.com.

I have to be honest, the occasional trance, rock, and bits like Homer Simpson's call to Japan are laced throughout

I listen to trance mostly when I play it relaxes me. If I am playing to tight I will rock out to same Hardcore or Metal it will generally loosen me up.

I'll add two more that have not been mentioned:

"Shpongle" and "Younger Brother" are great for people who like electronica/trance/psycahdelic.

In fact, I don't know anybody who doesn't like them.

EDIT: The Doors, Jimi Hendrix, The Beatles, Bob Marley (if you're tilting)

I tried this, but after a while the classical music started to tilt me... and I would think it will do the same to you.

Personally I listen to either trance (state of trance) or old love line episodes (love carolla)
