There's a big difference between a guy pandering for a tip and a guy refusing to do his job unless you bribe him first.

I am reading through this and confused. The guy was stumbling in the parking lot bloodied. Was he on his way to his car or from his car? He had a room in the hotel and it is not at all clear what he was doing in the parking lot.

This based on the open record keeping laws required by communism.

A guy with a knife demanding money isn't trying to kill you. That's probably the last thing he wants to do. A guy demanding money with a gun doesn't want to shoot you either. A gang member with a gun on other hand probably wants to hurt you or a serial killer.

Really tight laws (and not states)
DC 13.9
PR 26.7
can't find the breakdown for DC or PR on the FBI site???

I'll add an interesting one Illinois 5.8 total 509 by firearm 439
It is a silly discussion. The majority of homicides are gun related in us major cities. I suspect if you go back over the last thirty years you will find the deadliest city every year is not in a lax gun control city/state. While Chicago has improved in 2014, in 2012-2013 it was being called Chiraq due to all the gun violence. South side hospitals stopped accepting gun shot victims because it was costing them too much money. Chicago and Illinois have very tight gun control laws.

One of the idiotic proposals coming out of the Chicago crisis was to toughen gun control laws in Indiana, which was just idiotic. There are heat maps online where you can see the sources for guns used in Chicago homicides.

Suffice it to say people claiming a correlation between tighter gun control laws and less gun violence in the US are full of crap.

Why would the gang member be looking to hurt a serial killer?!

The guy with the knife may not be trying to kill me but he just bet his life, cause I'm not going to stop to wax philosophic about his true intentions if I have a gun, he will be dead. Anyone who threatens someone's life has to understand that they deserve to die for it.
