Think he's referring to the people who messaged Chris who for some reason haven't made an appearance ITT. Chris mentioned AK87 but that happened in October according to AK.

No that's foolish-I first learned of the debt this summer and asked him for payment info just days ago. But if this was such a monumental big deal as its been stated why wouldn't someone approach me at the last 2 wsops I've been at and say hey I'm assani we have this bet can we clear it up? That didn't happen I was never sent any account info nothing. I asked for account info a few days ago and did not receive it still- that should just show the lax attitude that's all I was going for-

Someone please explain. Why can't he out the bookie that screwed him over?

I would personally do so for spite if nothing else.

He has threaten to post on here for over a year and I told him that he should feel free to do so. After seeing his tweet I have a feeling he will not list out all the facts correctly so I am here to do so.

It all started in the here on the forums as a group of guys were betting on sports with each other vig free. We bet every week for almost A year and would aalways settle on Monday. You can ask anyone in the group I always paid on time and was a trusted member of the group. About 2 years ago a guy by the name lccf joined somehow and ended up scamming everyone out of a ton of money myself included. At the end of it I had to pay an additional 9k to the people in the forum from this guy as I got trapped but that's another story.

During the scandal Jason sent me a pm saying he worked for a guy that ran a book and offered to set me up. I agreed since the thread was dead and began betting with him. The first week I made about 5k but was out of town and told him to roll it over. The next week and a half went south for me and I lost back my 5 plus my credit limit of 15k. (He stated in his tweet that I owed 25 which is inaccurate)
I told him I was on the road and would take care of it when I got home. No problem he said. As I am sitting in airport headed home I get a Skype message from another guy that used to bet in the forum. He asked if Jason owed me money and I responded that I owed him. He told me Jason has owed him 18k for a few weeks and hadn't paid and asked I pay him instead of Jason. I told him at that time I would not pay Jason and pay him. When I got home I stalled paying Jason to see how the situation would shake out. Over the next 2 months 2 other people I know messaged me asking if Jason owed me money. I gave them dame answer that I owed him. The total thathe owed the 3 guys was over 40k.

By this time jJason was telling me his boss was giving him tons of heat and I need to pay immediately or he would post on 2+2. Initially I didn't mention I knew he owed the other guys. I kept in conversation with the other guys and Jason was telling them that his boss skipped town and he couldn't pay them. At same time his "boss" is busting his chops to get my money. I finally confronted Jason about his outstanding debts and he told me his guy fleur skip town. The whole situation was shady and I talked about paying the other guys what I owed equally. After much thought and talking with many friends I determined that I was being freerolled and decided I am not paying this debt. I have been stiffed by books in the past and customers that owed the book never took care of me. However, since I am "known" the other guys kept asking me to pay them what they won from Jason.

Ultimately I decided I was getting freerolled/scammed again and I will not pay this debt. Jason can post or whatever but the fact of the matter is he was lying to me and others and therefore will not receive anything from me

Chris moneymaker

Re: moneymaker vs jason young (resolved - see post 497 & 503...and then not - see post 656)

I advise both of you to ask for this thread to be closed. Things got out of hand and it isn't good going on a forum posting screen shots of messages etc.

Jason, you are an experienced gambler and you know that people in poker and gambling in general are usually broke, no matter how big the name is. I'm sure you have been in situations just as bad, if not worse.

Also I think it's ridiculous that people here are acting like Sherlocl Holmes when they have ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with what's going on

Resolve this outside of the forum because at the end of the day both of you look bad, especially Moneymaker who was probably the reason why 2+2 was created in the first place.

Now that you're here responding, why don't you just prove this to an impartial 3rd party/mod and the whole thing will be over. Bank statements, accounting history from poker sites, all this stuff can be requested/accessed easily and is the fastest way to prove you weren't freerolling Chris and move on with it.

Wait, but if he wasn't the book as he claims - it doesn't really matter how much money he had at the time, does it???

I started a rather large business in June of
2012- I'm puzzled that nobody picked up on this yet either. The place has been named itt look at it look at the area I'm in. Ask people that have been there

Do you want me to just tell you how much I put into it?
Then what?
My word is my word and everything that has transpired here I think represents that. Being called shady by people that I've never met as opposed to being called stand up by the people I know

Once again- I was never booking these bets- I had enough cred if I wanted action I could have bet whatever I wanted with no less than a dozen guys. I had previously vouched for someone that didn't make good on things...I'm a man and my word means something so instead of telling them they are out of luck I said I'd cover it

Yet you will provide ZERO proof to anyone, publicly or privately, that this bookie existed.

You won't even explain why you refuse to provide proof.

So this entire statement is invalid.

These two statements contradict each other.

You vouched for money, and said you would cover it. So far you haven't covered it. Therefore you are not a man of your word.

hint: vouching for money doesn't mean you say you will cover it, and then struggle to pay any of it for the next 12 months.

Jason,

When you were working as an agent for this bookie I assume you also had your own personal betting account. Any chance the bookie can get you both you and MM's acct history that corresponds to the dates Chris was betting? You have been awfully loyal to him (even though he screwed you) ITT maybe he can help you in return. This loyalty as kilowatt keeps noting ,has been much to your detriment. You may have a significant amount of bets that would show you were betting the opposite side of Chris on games. Not something a bookie, especially one taking a shot, would logically do. This would be a significant piece of evidence to me. Your texts from Chris certainly have muddied the waters some.

Don't do it!!!! 7 days a week 110+ hours its quite thankless work. Hard to be a friend, have a relationship, be a father, and run the business the right way... Quite stressful
