I know you all want this gossip but I have agreed to pay if proven wrong and if not pay to charity so there is nothing more I need to discuss unless you have a stake in the situation.

The timeline is important because in your OP you made it seem like Jason was telling you "the boss" was pressuring him while simultaneously telling the other guys the boss had skipped town. You make no mention of a 5+ month delay between when you lost the bet and when the other guys contacted you.

By this time jJason was telling me his boss was giving him tons of heat and I need to pay immediately or he would post on 2+2. Initially I didn't mention I knew he owed the other guys. I kept in conversation with the other guys and Jason was telling them that his boss skipped town and he couldn't pay them. At same time his "boss" is busting his chops to get my money. I finally confronted Jason about his outstanding debts and he told me his guy fleur skip town. The whole situation was shady and I talked about paying the other guys what I owed equally
Also, you say you didn't mention to Jason that you knew about the other debts, but sheets himself said he only reached out to you because Jason told him that you owed him money.

I suggest you forget the charity angle and just get your own life in order.

But if you really do want to donate $20k to charity in lieu of paying Jason, make sure it is in YOUR name, so you can get the writeoff instead of him.

Also, tax tip for you:

If you were a net loser in gambling in 2013, I suggest waiting until January to make the donation, as that will allow you to write it off your 2014 taxes. If you had no taxable income in 2013, definietly wait until 2014, as that's just 2 months away.

LOL, You really think Chris didn't already think about this?

Think he's poker/gambling money broke and not actually cash broke.

My guess would be that Pokerstars have been all over this thread and it's them who have insisted that Chris make this donation to charity.

And if that is the case, and given Chris' financial situation, then I reckon there's a decent chance that Stars will be fronting the $$$$ for this noble gesture.

Stars had not contacted me in any way about this and the charity was my idea. Jason contacted stars a few months ago to try and get paid and it failed.

Fair enough. Just believe that this particular lesson shouldn't be costing you 20k.

Lol, what a lowlife.

Owes out thousands to multiple people and trying to wreck the one guy that owes him by contacting his employer.

Look in the mirror before you throw stones.

Wonder how JY would feel if Sheets and Assani contacted the others invested in his restaurant? This along with telling his debtors about MM and saying he owed 25k when it was a lot less makes it hard not to side with the lesser of two evils(MM).

25K - He was just rounding up,

Does anyone else think that Bundy is JY's non-illiterate alter-ego?

It's the most I have seen on here.

That's worth $2000 on its own, lol.
Hi there.

Chris, have you consulted your decision about donating 20k (or so) to charity with the missus? Given some of your texts to Jason, there were other areas besides sports booking where mistakes have been made on your part. Just asking.

WOW AND DOUBLE WOW!!!!

Jason listen man -regardless of whether you think Chris is 100% wrong in this, you are definitely not 100% right. How could you in good faith actually bother PokerStars with this??? You haven't paid Assani in 18 months. You have paid Sheets just $500 out of $8000 and there are probably other debts you owe as well. I'm sorry but doing that takes this to a new low. This whole thing is very sad.

Jason and Chris here is the form you both need to fill out against each other.

I think the odds of MM actually sending the money to charity is miniscule.

Can Chris play in the One Drop and write that off as his charity donation?

Do you think he has the money to enter one drop?

Seems pretty obvious to me that neither of these degens had the means to pay the other if they lost the bet. They deserve each other.

JY,

Since you won't acknowledge when your boss skipped out on you how about doing either of the following:

If your boss was around until October when Sheets and the others won why don't you post pics of texts/emails he sent you from April-October asking you for updates on the CM situation while blacking out his name/number/email address.

Or, why don't you post pics of texts/emails you sent him in the days/weeks after his disappearance?

Any of this evidence would go a long way to proving the boss existed while at the same time keeping his/your personal info confidential.
