So, what happened in the assembly with internet poker?

I don't think they got to it. Now they are on summer break from what I understand. Not sure how long summer break is tho. They passed the dfs which IMO is a big step forward as them tourneys are pretty similar to poker tourneys. In fact I'd say them fantasy tourneys are more like lottery than Poker.

Yep. We didn't make it this time. The Assembly resumes in January, but we'll be at the front of the line this time.

You've gotta be kidding me though.

"New York Assemblyman Gary Pretlow tells PokerNews that the reason why he was able to move his daily fantasy sports bill but not his online poker legislation through the Assembly last week before the end of the legislative session is that DFS is a game of skill."

And then his reasoning of "raising the bet changes the odds" therefore it's gambling.
So how about in DFS when a player gets injured or ejected... the odds don't change then?

I mean.. I can't even comprehend how someone could be so ignorant or stupid.
