GF just sent me this... minnpost.com article - revolves around how a 2+2er, Schneids is affected.

(sorry if it's a dupe.. skipped over a lot of this thread)

The rotating advertisement in the middle of the MinnPost.com article is periodically showing WPT Boot Camp, "Increase Your Income Playing Poker - We'll Show You How". Also check out the Google context-ads for poker on the left side.

Irony.

Here's a blog written by a man that apparently owns a small ISP in MN, it is speaking about this whole debacle:

Obviously this is a really dumb move, but MN is one of the most civic-minded states in the country, and has a progressive history when it comes to individual rights. It is one of the few states in the country that offers more protection for the 4th amendment than what is provided by the US Constitution.

Re: Minnesota to Prohibit Access Between Residents and Gambling Sites.

They canceled the hearing. The politicians and lawyers are engaged in ongoing discussions about what will happen next. What, if anything, will be the outcome of those discussions we will just have to wait and see (and keep our fingers crossed). Until something is announced, however, things should go on as normal.
