i took the time to listen to the entire vertucci interview with mikki. it was highly entertaining and riddled with absurd claims.

my favorite part may have been when he explained how him and his buddy keating play poker as if it's a puzzle. they want to play every hand and figure out how to make the pieces fit. i don't know, it was so convoluted i can't retell the story but basically it was a fish defending why he has terrible stats. i'd recommend listening to it... should be towards the very end of the episode.

Incorrect. I was an AP for a while and made a good chunk on punto banco. We calculated that counting for regular punto banco was possible under certain conditions but high variance and low EV, so we focussed on sidebets, which were VERY exploitable.

We need a player card made of him, something like Mikki the Sicky, Mickie Louse, etc. All his claimed "stats" and bio on the back. Nickname: "The GOAT Gambler."

I'd rather see a TV reality show featuring Mikki, Todd Chrisley and Hillary Clinton. Perhaps call it "Lock It Up or Lock Them Up?"

A few of us joked he would sell say $1.25 million in action by finding suckers to stake him, lose the million and pocket the $250k as his backers would see he lost it all on the stream.

While I have little doubt he pull a stunt like this, obviously he could not find backers for this game.

In this video, Mikki talks about how during his "hiatus" from instagram (as if anyone noticed), he found out his girlfriend was cheating on him and how much it broke his heart. Around 18:00 he talks about how he convinced her he was dead broke and was using her DoorDash account, etc. He makes it seem like he was doing it to get back at her, but it's very obviously him getting ahead of her potentially putting it out there that Mikki is broke. This is starting to become extremely sad

Maybe being broke is why he could not participate in the HCL million dollar buy-in cash game.

Saw HCL last night

Clearly putting to bed the lie that H doesn't pay certain 'stars' to turn up and play.

I mean it's always been the case - you might need to offer an incentive for certain players to come and play your stream. And often other players will come and play because of these 'stars' being in the game. And obs - more people watch.

Also I note that HCL never refuted Mikki's statement in regards to why he dropped out... and then [with all the drop outs] there was the panicked renegotiations with people like Tony G and Alan Keating. Which showed they were willing to 'work up' any inducement... when the line ups began to fall apart.

I didn't notice last night - but the rake on the Million Dollar game was rather high. Which wouldn't be normal for a stream/TV broadcast... except in effect they were using that money as rake back for certain 'stars'/appearance fees.

Anyway, I liked how - Mikki wore his t-shirt [rather crap looking home made job] to high light the lies from HCL.

I didn't hear the commentators refer to this. I may have missed it - as I was flitting in and out a bit. All I heard was them discussing the 'colour'/style being a match for the female player's top sat next to him.

I also was confused by the show ending - it seems - well before the game finished.

I guess I haven't watched enough of these shows... do they usually film one night and then show that footage on a certain day of the week [Friday] over the next three or four weeks?

The last time I watched him on HCL, a few months ago, you could tell he took the beats pretty badly. I mean, like those were his last monies. I mean, no one likes losing, but you could just see it in his facial expressions and body language that money meant something to him.

Overall, I feel anyone online who flashes cash, cars, etc typically is a fraud in one sort or another.
