From listening to Jcarver talk about these kind of livestreams from Vegas, this is how Nevada gaming commission does it - and they oversee it with vigilance. Apparently California are a lot more lax with the technicalities, to say the least.

It's worse for poker if Stones gets away with it. Their Twitter feeds called the accusations "fabrications" - even if it's not an inside job (it is), that's a horrible way to handle things. They should have fired Justin yesterday, and gotten an actual independent investigation instead of now hiring their own attorney to do another internal one.

Cheating aside people who care about the game of poker should boycott Stones unless they do a serious 180 on how they're handling this.

Is this more complicated than someone speaking the cards to him/morse code/whatever? Yes. But something like this would only require it be activated and could completely run by one person per stream.
If you have the encryption key ... Writing the app to display the data in real time would not be too hard ...brings the whole use of RFID into question ... But who would watch poker streams without it?

This moron code crap is too complicated.

He either wiretapped the commentary room and have the audio going straight to his headset through bluetooth, or he's getting live hand feeds via text and bluetooth.

I think both because sometimes he signals ? to the box through his hat for them to send the hand again.

They got enough evidence for a cavity check of all his records and purchases.

The commentary doesn't happen until 30 minutes later. I think that's been established right?

I think i recall in one of the streams Justin commentating in the booth while Mike P. was playing and god moding (not 100% sure, i think joey reviewed it in his first investigation stream) Anybody else remembers that? Cause that would exclude the voice whispering.. Or if he happens to weirdly repeat the hole cards during commentary in key situations.. Or my memory serves me wrong and he was not godmoding that time

Someone is definitely reading info to him through his hat that is equipped with "speakers" that only he can hear. The "speakers" use a technology called "Bone Conducting" which do not operate using a "Speaker" like in headphones. This type of technology does not require anything inside of an ear to "hear" what the person is telling him.

Hello Loctus;

You seem to have almost an insider's view here......and I'm sure I can say for many that we all appreciate the info.......Your last sentence above has the implied feeling of "Good job boys, just keep digging a little more!!! I can't come out and say everything I know but you are on the right track....Go get 'em!!"

I'm not trolling or doing anything but thanking you, but, it leaves me (maybe US) wondering.....can you elaborate a little? Do you play or work at Stones? What more can you share???

Sorry if you've answered this already......

Yep but before the bluetooth hat it was obviously just his phone. Watch the Aug 22, 2018 session, during big decisions, constantly looks at his laps, then peels his hole cards even though his eyes are on his lap, to make phone checks look like hole card checks.

Justin was sending a mirror of the stream to his phone until after people got suspicious, they replaced it with Justin telling him the cards via the bluetooth hat, it's currently the Occam's Razor explanation.

I get that. I have one of those bone conducting mp3 players for swimming. But if hes in the booth all the time in that session, he is not able to say explicitely: "yo brah that dudes got a nothing burger"

If Justin was commentating then it was 30 minutes after it actually happened. Did you notice when he came into the booth?

It depends, if they are commentating on a live feed, that is big because he is the one responsible for setting up streams..

Audio + Text could just be from someone else that knows the live hands.

If you can intercept and decrypt the data, developing an app to show the info in real time is relatively basic ... But being able to decrypt the data is the hard part ... Would need to be provided with the correct key

No, he has just been keeping up with the entire thread/joeys streams. It's obvious to everyone that has. It just gets a bit tilting when people come in here only having read a page or seen a couple hands then try to throw out crazy theories or say they aren't convinced Postle is cheating. It's legitimately confirmed at this point, there's no need to sugar coat it anymore. This is no shade at you btw

Damn Lou. You were almost at the point where you were figuring out somebody must be tapping into the RFID feed of what the cards were.

Hi, thank you for the kind words. I live in Sweden and have absolutely zero connection to this case as far as real life goes. My wording in that post is not meant as anything else than me having been quite certain early that Justin K is the inside man, without me wanting to make too definite cliffnote/statements there. Him running the stream team, being a friend of Mikes, being the one in charge of the first "investigation" (CONCLUDING ZZZEROOO WRONGDOING ) etc all points so clearly to him. Now that we've learned about the Vegas+Australia trips it's just lolololol obvious imo

Basically I just have too much free time to follow the thread and dig around and thus having a better overview of the likely method of cheating than people who enter the thread randomly and start asking questions/making random guesses, detracting from the discussion

edit: Nice reply by gar2garvin 2 posts above lol, he nails it

Which was my whole point. Regardless of my ignorance of past posts about Justin's apparent free reign - I don't think anyone really thought through the whole "who's speaking on the other end and how are they not being noticed?" thing until I brought it up.

Unless he's really locked into a private office where no one can walk in w/o knocking - whispering into your phone or always texting at a point where there's a big hand just seems like eventually would lead to suspicion.

However if you're allowed to just sit there on your laptop with your back to the wall, you could be looking at scat porn and no one would know.

re: Mike Postle cheating allegations (FAQ in first post)

There doesn't need to be anyone speaking to him.

A simple programme that grabs the RFID data that then converts this data to speech. Literally all it needs to be in S14c4d etc. Could even do it so that the messages keep repeating according to what players get to the flop/turn/river.

You can see in the hands with the hat device that he touches his head multiple times per hand, as he is trying to make the messages come thru clearer in a noisy casino environment.

People are imagining Justin walking around the room, ducking into corners whispering into his jacket sleeve as if he is James Bond. You are all complicating things.

His primary focus is on all aspects of*white-collar criminal defense, I guess you know how this is going to turn out.

OK, so this sounds quite bad and it could lead to a whitewashing. However, let's give them the benefit of the doubt for a second.
The owner of the room might have called up his usual lawyer because he has a strong suspicion that one of his employees has been involved in illegal activity, which may lead the room to press charges against the employee.
As a first step, I think it's quite normal for the employer to call his regular lawyer in when something dodgy has happened on the premises.

A fully independent review would have to be done by the proper authorities, of course.
