re: Mike Postle cheating allegations (FAQ in first post)

it’s also super embarrassing and ignorant hearing unemployed twoplustwo idiots talk about there being a criminal trial with expert witnesses

life is shitty and unfair and at best maybe you’ll get a settlement if you file a civil suit against Stones Casino.

14:30 flip 44 vs ace7 upon closer look blinds were 15k 30k and the bb had less than 10 bigs while postle had 33bb. Standard move sb v bb

23:45 fat train praises Mike saying out of 5 events during 2017 stones spring classic Mike has 4 cashes and 3 final tables. Then he wins the current one for 36k

hes not a better cheater than the goat potripper. the only reason he has a higher bb/100 is because the stacks are deeper.

So I was looking through streams in which Justin Kuraitis was commentating. I found roughly 15 total streams, and only one of them had Mike in it. So I decided to take a look, and I found something very intriguing.

Throughout the whole episode, I didn't find a single example where I thought Mike was clearly cheating based on his play.

I figured Justin would be in the booth for the entire stream, but to my surprise he dips out of the commentary booth from 3:22:00 to 3:48:00.
Justin leaves: https://youtu.be/GFQ531Y_KII?t=12120
Justin returns: https://youtu.be/GFQ531Y_KII?t=13680

I continued to watch the hands for anything suspicious, and something very interesting happens in a hand that takes place at the 3:54:00 mark (32 minutes after Justin leaves the commentary booth).

Preflop mike calls with 87o (nothing out of the ordinary here), but then proceeds to press down on his hat with both hands. The preflop raiser (whose cards are not read by the RFID reader in this hand) cbets 4 ways and Mike calls, and proceeds to press down on his hat with both hands again. I watched this whole stream and not once until now did I see him do this with his hat, and now he does it twice within 40 seconds??? On the turn 3 ways, it checks to Mike, who places each of his cards on the RFID reader, points to each of them, and says something to the dealer. Keep in mind that the RFID has not picked up his opponent's cards. It seems to me like he's trying to remind the guy that his cards need to go on the reader. Really suspicious stuff here. Here is the link to the hand in question:
https://youtu.be/GFQ531Y_KII?t=14040
Interested to hear some more opinions on this one too - I'll have to take your word for the 'pressing down on the hat thing' but this would be a good one to see the camera view of just Mike for the entire hand, or at least +/- 10 mins.

I've not watched any other stream footage, but he puts his hole cards on the RFID a lot in this hand - maybe he does that a lot anyway, but it does seem like he's trying to signal something in a hand that he knows could get big if he could play knowing hole cards.

re: Mike Postle cheating allegations (FAQ in first post)

with how stupid and greedy this guy was, it scares me to think how a smart player with the same kind of information could get away with this basically forever.

how over the top obvious he is about it and some of you still give him the benefit of the doubt.

either the commentators know nothing about poker, or they were in on it. neither would surprise me. there's no way you could watch these plays in real time w/ hole card knowledge and not get suspicious after even 5 or 6 hands.

the 86o hand against 72s jfc.

Pushes his finger against the side of his cap for a few seconds. then puts his hand over it and pushes his hand into it covering his ear and turns head away. Then moves his hand away and has a gigentic smile, then proceeds to put his hands out like "really, fk, can i really call with this, it will be so obvious".

ye im being biased. but the huge gigantic smile straight after is a bit redic.

This last stream was wild. First session Mike didn't have his god mode on and played awful and ran awful. The second session post WSOP he came back in full force god moding it up everywhere. Lots of ****ing wild hands we went over.
Papi, I just wanted to add something I've noticed. Doesn't crack the case or anything, but when Mike is cheating, when he shows his cards, he does kind of a pose and hold type thing like a basketball player does when they sink a 3. It's a pretty reliable tell to if he's cheating or not. He knows the hand is good and it's a sort of cocky way of presenting his hand. When he wasn't cheating I noticed he just flipped his hand like a normal player.

The AA vs Suited King hand was repugnant. Magic Mike checks his spirit rockers IP to allow victim to catch up. Turn comes a diamond. Victim bets his draw. River another diamond, dude bets his K high flush. Mike has the nut blocker and doesn't even bother pretending to play standard and throws the aces away.

Anyone with a brain and a decent understanding of poker only has to watch a few of these hands to immediately know something very dodgy is going on here. He's definitely superusing. As usual him and his conspirators, of which he will have needed at least one, will no doubt get away with it.

Yes, and Justin Kuraitis who's sending that tweet (Justin K is in charge of all their social media) is the same guy who ran the previous investigation and concluded absolutely no wrong doing and that the allegations were complete fabrications, same guy who is highly probable to be Postle's inside man, etc.

I'm guessing the decision is from higher ups and that they just have him relay it even though he's a main suspect, but still pretty silly to see. The Casino need to suspend Justin immediately and have someone else take care of their media outlets. I mean how the **** can they have ONE OF THE SUSPECTED CHEATERS be their media connection to the outside? Ridiculous

So they do misread
Not necessarily. A mistake made by the graphics department could turn a correct RFID reading into an incorrect graphics display for someone's hole cards.

A legit holecard display error occurs when one card is duplicate on the graphic (so it shows the same card as holecard for multiple players or on the board), caused by the card sliding over multiple RFID readers.

Someone having the completely wrong holecards, ie Mike "actually" having 89ss or whatever instead of 68o, even though there were no 8s9s anywhere else on the table, is a fabrication by the crew

03:05:01 A bomb pot is played and Mike Postel is looking down and absolutely plays this hand in god mode. Such sick river value IN A BOMB POT. This was one of his early stream appearances I believe. Take a close look at this video as he is in seat 4 and not his usual seat. He felts a new player here with the incredible turn and especially river line.

Please take a look at the stream and time stamp!

I found this photo of Postle and other players in action. A little grainy but ok.

Just gonna leave this here. This guy seems to play regularly at Stones so I thought it might be of interest. Potentially in Bluetooth range?

Nice story in cardschat summarising the whole thing. Only thing that has changed is Moneymaker is no longer supporting Mike Postle in the same way, which is a big deal.
Article is very poorly written, especially regarding the AK vs 45 hand. Fails to mention it was 3 ways and ran twice, thusmike getting 50% and the other 2 getting quartered. It just says he won 11k.

JTo bomb pot, turn 3-bet 4-handed - disgusting

Mike needs to be banned from ever again setting foot in a California casino.

Stones employees and senior management need to lose their jobs.

Stones Live, currently suspended, should be permanently shut down.

No I am not joking.
