Random Guy: LOL Justin why so mad, is it because your easy $ stream is gone and so you're desperate for money?

Justin: BRO I MAKE 6 FIGURES EASY!

Veronica: Post a tax return, otherwise no one believes you.

Justin: NO U!!!!! I BET I MAKE MORE THAN YOU! LETS BOTH POST OUR RETURNS AND I BET $$$ MINE IS BIGGER!

they are cringe and i have stopped responding.
to be fair he was bragging about his 6 figure income and i think he is a compulsive liar with empty threats. I asked him to show a tax return if he makes 6 figures and wants to brag, and like all liars he turned it around and wanted me to show mine first and tried to say that i make under 100k.

anytime he is pressed about anything he goes back to the same bullshit.

honestly i think we are dealing with a mentally ill man who is in a severe manic phase and i hope someone in his life gets him help. i feel like his friend group is just encouraging him and he is digging such a deep hole and completely unaware of it

$40,000, and the lawyers probably get 1/3. So way less than what they got cheated out of and the plaintiffs' lawyers had to make a statement implying there wasn't cheating.

And he is posting all this on Stone's official Twitter account?

Justin meant he makes 6 figures including his cut from running crooked games, not 6 figures in salary.

Were you aware of the cheating allegations while you were playing? It seems at least some of the games occurred when there were rumors of cheating already circulating. Should the average taxpayer provide a forum for gamblers to contest losses in games where they lose money? Should society determine whether gambling games are honest? Is that a good use of our resources?

It's not that I am not persuaded there was cheating. It's that I am not persuaded that society should protect people in gambling games. Especially when there was rumors of cheating in the game for much of its existence.

If you gamble in a casino, you should very well know that the casino has a huge advantage in any disputes that occur. you can win, but if there is a glitch according to the casino, you lose. Millions possibly. Gambling is rigged. If you don't know it's rigged, you are a fool and society should not protect you.

It wasn't directed at you, but interesting that you took it that way.

My comment was for JFK who keeps saying there is no evidence of cheating.

I was sort of kidding, but it isn't impossible. There were crooked poker rooms before live streams.

So they got about 0.13% of what they sued for. Not bad.

I don’t know why gambling should be considered any different than any other legal entertainment business authorized and licensed by the state. Why shouldn’t a casino be subject to resolving its disputes with its customers in court?

So I can just go work for the lottery, rig it for myself, and there should be no way for me to be punished? What about if I'm a real estate agent and lie about some details and trick someone into buying me a house, is that okay? Should the customer have known real estate transactions are rigged in the agents favor, so therefore anything goes? Fraud should be punished in all its forms, and its not even close. Carving out an exception for fraud in gambling makes 0 sense.

This is the dumbest thing I have read today. However, it's only 1030am in Sydney, and the internet is still up and running. Pretty good odds this will land in the Top 5 by 10pm bedtime.
