Re: Mike Postle cheating allegations (FAQ in first post)

Any chance someone has hand histories of Postle on UB from back in the day?

Friends with Russ...
It is kind of interesting that in the interview with Matasow, Postle claimed to have been one of the biggest winners on UB. He seemed to be implying he got cheated, but maybe he was one of the cheaters?

Re: Mike Postle cheating allegations (FAQ in first post)

My previous post #10702 is not a real hand history.....

"Dealer turns pokerpreacher (SB) cards face down", is the clue.

(I also have no idea what Mike Postle's UB sn was)

No suits, no rake, and final hands omit the board 6, which would play.

LOL every sane judge/jury will dismiss this. Such a poor attempt.

Why isn´t she participating with the big lawsuit from the other players? Why doing it on her own? Seeking for attention?

Well it is strong circumstantial evidence but I agree that it may not be convincing enough for a jury and much of it can be ripped apart by a skilful defence.

Mike Postle knowing in the interview about only 2 of his 4 PLO cards showing on the graphics I am guessing he can explain away by him saying that someone told him about it before the interview happened, e.g. someone who was legitimately watching the stream on a 30 minute delay, or that he saw it happen himself on a 30 minute delay, so how is this good evidence against him, unless the interview took place less than 30 minutes after the hand, did it?

I know he was gesticulating during the hand itself, but again this is only circumstantial evidence. "Mr. Postle, why were you making such hand gestures during that hand of what I believe is called Pot Limit Omaha poker". "Well, Sir, I am a No Limit Hold'em specialist, one of the best No Limit Hold'em players in California, so when I play that 4 card game I often get frustrated because I am not so good at it."

Perhaps Marle didn't like the terms / the fees of the joint law suit, or she was turned down by them when she tried to join, or it could be her wanting the whole of a small pie rather than a small piece of a medium/large pie.

Will there being two almost identical lawsuits in motion at the same time effect the outcomes at all? Is it an advantage or a disadvantage to the defendant when this happens?

To follow up on Captain Jack's Twitter revelations last week. He continued some digging and found some interesting "coincidences" between Russ Hamilton, Postle, and a few other UBT Season 1 "internet qualifies" who we know were hand picked friends of his:

Ron Saccavino, implicated for operating two UB Super-user accounts, "FlipFlop2" and "HeadKase01"

Dennis Novinsky, also implicated as have operated a super-user account on UB by the name of "DannyBoy55"

Shawn Rice, who came to Postle's defense on 2+2 when this first broke.

Of course, this is not evidence that Postle had access to a super-user account. If is looks like a duck and quacks like a duck though.

Definitely new information in these tweets but it should be noted that Postle's participation in Ultimate Blackjack was brought up ITT as early as October:

The show consists of a series of televised Elimination Blackjack tournaments. The winner of each weekly tournament returns for the final Tournament of Champions.

Elimination Blackjack is a tournament format of blackjack invented by Russ Hamilton, that was played on the Ultimate Blackjack Tour and in various casinos. It combines the game of blackjack with elements of No Limit Texas Hold'Em. Unlike Texas Hold'Em tournaments, players are still competing against the same dealer that is why the results of most players at the table are likely to be the same.[1] UltimateBet, a sponsor of the Ultimate Blackjack Tour, offered online elimination blackjack tournaments prior to bankruptcy.

And previous to that when I mentioned Postle's Dream Seat Poker concept, a poster said it reminded him of Ultimate Blackjack:

However, I see Mike Postle as someone who is not content just being a poker player. He even invented his own poker format: Dream Seat Poker which has been shown on Stones Live. He describes this Dream Seat as "a combination of a cash game and a tournament with some game show elements added to it."

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Dream Seat Example
$5200 Buyin
$3k is on the table in the form of 300,000 in chips
$2k is put into a tournament prize pool
$200 goes to the house.
After a randomly selected hand in level 4 the shortest stack is eliminated and will go to the cage to cash out chips remaining for cash.
I presume this will continue until only 1 player remains.

Players would be able to win a seat into this Dream Seat game which would be live streamed / televised.

Dream Seat can incorporate a 72 aspect whereby if a player wins with 72 they have the opportunity to roll a dice numbered 2 to 7 and whichever number it lands on the player will take that many big blinds from each player at the table.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Mike Postle says his "creativity just flows at all times." Well, there isn't anything much less creative than grinding live low stakes poker. It seems likely that he has been using all that creativity to think of ways to cheat the game. My guess is that his creativity was focused on Dream Seat Poker circa 2017 and after that didn't take off he focused his creativity towards ways to cheat the live stream.

In describing why he created Dream Seat, Mike Postle said he likes looking for ways to "make something more fun and exciting." It looks like he's been having a ball stealing thousands of dollars from other people. It looks way more fun than just grinding.

Re: Mike Postle cheating allegations (FAQ in first post)

I am curious.

Does anyone know of a casino being successfully sued by a customer that was robbed on their premise?

A maid ripped off my room years ago and they had no interest. They figured what is stolen in Vegas stays in Vegas.

From a theft lawsuit:

The defendant also argues Plaintiff’s complaint fails to plead facts that the presence of additional security measures would have, in fact, prevented the robbery. Therefore, Defendant contends it is only speculation that Defendant’s alleged breach of duty was the proximate cause of Plaintiff’s injuries.

Technically, Stones is two establishments. The Saloon and The Tavern, each with its own gaming license.

Also, the King's Casino people (as Stones South Bay Corporation) own the Seven Mile Casino in Chula Vista

one casino in reno actually lost a big lawsuit for theft many years back. it seemed they had a string of breakin thefts and didnt notify the customers or do much about it. you now casinos.
jury ruled against them as they had a duty to their customers.
