It's been a thousand posts. Given this thread has the merit of catching a famous serial killer, with an additional 9/11 conspiracy vibe, the casuals demand some mother ****ing cliffs notes.

re: Mike Postle cheating allegations (FAQ in first post)

He clearly doesnt get a sign when he has the winning seat beacuase there is a hand where he leads 67 in T53cc in a bompot and get calls from k2cc and aqcc and ending up donkjamming river where he had 7 high.

It must be so tilting for his partner in crime Justin to see the guy wanting to win all the hands even when he has bottom 10%. If he just played 25% of hands and on the BB 80% and just pay off in coolers like the 88 v tt on 99xT8 it wouldnt be so obvious.

I've created this twitter (https://twitter.com/PostleThe) which I'll update with what I believe to be the outrageous hands.

cuz he can't realistically fold the third nuts on a livestream without arousing suspicion from all the players.

Same reason he doesn't fold KK to AA preflop until after he puts in a re-raise and gets re-raised back.

Because it’s being streamed. If he folded a full house it would be even more obvious than just calling

If it's the former, I think it might not be as fancy as anything like RFID readers. He could just have an audio feed.
The casters are in an audio booth across the room watching the stream on delay.

Hope this wasn't referring to me. I did say the accusation was credible. At the time we had only a few hands in isolation to go on, which I thought had reasonable explanations and did not think was enough proof to definitively call someone a cheater.

Thanks to many others' investigative work, we've since learned that he plays like a superuser in virtually every livestreamed game and has a winrate an entire order of magnitude higher than half the people in the llsnl winrates thread believe is the upper limit of possibility.

Please don't compare reasoned skepticism before most of the evidence came out to blind defense like the posts from Postle's [friend's] alts later in the thread.

This tweet was deleted about 10-15 mins after it was posted (I saw it too.) Maybe the info in it is not accurate. I'd wait for another source on that.

i think thats the session i watched yesterday, with the AQs flush vs straightflush in it. he made a 2k reload in the beginning and another 2k a bit later.

if not the same session, then never mind.

re: Mike Postle cheating allegations (FAQ in first post)

One thing about Stones commentators, don't put too much reliance on what they say, they are very poor readers of the game, so often mis read the hands they are commenting on, so if they can't spot a winning hand, it isn't altogether surprising they can't spot Postle's consistent out of line suspicious winning play. Plus they are Stones employees, so they won't rock the boat, and it is credit to Veronica, an ex employee, that she has said publicly what others must have been privately questioning.

The way Stones employee commentators kept so quiet is interesting, as there was a bizarre session back in January 2019, Harlan and Victims, yet it is only in October htat questions are being publicly asked.

So yes, Postle stinks, but he wasn't acting alone.

Just an aside, there is a Postle Stones vid where there is an Asian masseuse, and my word, she is watching the game so intently.

Anyone have a link to the 76o hand where Mike shoves the river when the flush draw whiffs for two other players in hand in a bomb pot after check/calling the flop and turn with a gutshot?

This is the hand that makes most people agree he is cheating.
Although to more experienced players its his overall play that is actually more indicative of this.

It was a dumb stupid move on his part.
If he would have just raise/folded to the jam it would have maybe looked a little better.

If he was playing this straight up its clear the board coordination meant there were a ton of hands that would call a raise.

The only people in this thread who don't think he cheated are apparently stooge accounts. Well done Bobo.

If this can happen on a live stream in 2019, and it IS actually proven, the people.trying to bring poker back into the States like @MikeSexton @robbyong, @PartyPoker and all the greats are going to have their legs cut out from under them in their efforts to bring what so many want..
I can only hope that this is disproved, because, you are all ****ed if its not.

re: Mike Postle cheating allegations (FAQ in first post)

Just finished watching the 10/25/50 stream from 10 days ago. He definitely seems to be a little more careful with his cheating here and given the stakes, probably doesn't feel he needs to win every single pot. He is less obvious when looking down at his lap during hands, but you can notice he often tanks and puts his head down before calling a 3bet pre with junk like 95s, a3o, etc. He books a >20k win over about 5 hours. He doesn't run any insane bluffs like the other ones we've seen, just consistently bets when ahead and folds when beat throughout the stream. Always getting in when good and never losing any pots over 1k. Not that we need any more HH at this point, but a few that stood out. Wasn't keeping any notes as I was watching so probably missed some, but here were the hands that stood out.

https://youtu.be/6w4TguWyUH0

4:30:15 you can clearly see Mike P go in the tank pre facing a 4x 3bet oop w 75o. Folds flop after Berkey flops a fh but the interesting thing here is Mike Ps actions preflop. He does this consistently throughout the stream.

4:38:10 just another weird line by Mike P. He often value bets super super thin knowing he has best hand in spots that dont make much sense causing his opponent to make hero calls. I've noticed this trend a lot throughout the streams. But what are you doing Joe B. Also Mike P should win an academy award for his reaction after getting called.

5:11:40 I think this hand has already been posted but definitely one that stood out. Flops tp and a gutter vs Marle. Calls a small cbet then folds turn with 2 flush draws out there. Veronica's reaction here is priceless. This may have been the final straw before she decided to come out.

Also if you scroll to 4:29:18, a floor guy walks up to the table that appears to be Justin Kuraitis, confirming he was at the game that night.

The game breaks 2 hands after the stream ends. LOL

don't forget that at Stones, they have a rule where players can chip up to the chip leader. So if all players start with 500, and one player triples up to 1500, all players can chip up to 1500 if they wish. So it's not always straightforward to know how much everyone is in for or how much they're up.

It's impossible to call with AK high on that board. Losing play in long run?

Definitely think that there is a lot of blame to throw around beyond just the obvious cheating. The commentators who watched 100s of hours of his hands really did such a poor job of protecting the other players. All it took was for Joey to watch less than 5 hours to see the impossibility that he was not cheating. Goes without saying this stream should end immediately and never come back.

yes this can happen in 2019, anything involving money/fame will experience cheating and poker is no different. with all these technological advances, we have to stay vigilant bc it wasn't a matter of if but when this would happen. this incident is both bad and good for poker. bad for obv reasons but also good bc its a necessary growing pain to improve our systems and regulations. in the future we may have to deal with crazy **** like augmented reality smart contact lenses or ai directly connected to the brain. is poker at risk? yes, but so is everything else, and the future of live poker is much brighter than online, at least as it pertains to cheating
