Gonna be almost impossible unless someone comes forward. Or he’s dumb enough to do again. I doubt we see him again on these games.

re: Mike Postle cheating allegations (FAQ in first post)

twitter is going mad on this.
Having a 700$ hourly in 1/3 and 5/5 combined is ridiculous.
Two losing sessions in 31 sessions wow.

He either is poker god that can't handle cash and thus not able to move up in stakes or he was "low-key" grinding this game as a cash grab. well I went well for over 18 months.

in other words its pretty blatant..

The recent session that people are discussing, was that played before or after the cheating allegations became public?

None that I'm aware of. Only casino cheating cases I'm aware of involve the casino being cheated: no one player cheating another. It would be unlikely to find any past civil actions with respect to players cheating in poker. Number one, it's hard establish/prove a poker player cheated. And second, the vast majority of people play poker for relatively small amounts of money. If someone cheated you out of $250, the time and money to pursue that in a civil proceeding, it's almost nonsensical.

They have been posted in this thread and discussed. I get it's 1000 posts and everyone can't follow it, but tbh his online results (which aren't great, you can google your way to them and his SN's yourself if you were to actually spend the time doing it) are a bit... Out of date by now. Considering it's basically abso****inglutely concluded he IS cheating on the streams. So debating his online results is a bit of a moot point no matter what they were

edit: Just to not sound like a complete ****, he played on a SN yngmanN4quiki on one site

1. I bet a well reasoned statistical analysis from an expert in the field is "proof" to some extent. It can be calculated how likely it is that someone of average to above average skill wins that much money in that period of time. Preponderance of evidence is enough for civil cases.

2. Someone he collaborated with cracks and confesses.

3. Incriminating Phone calls or Text message conversations found by authorities.

You call expert witnesses that can testify that his play/results only makes sense if he knew his opponents hole cards but I don’t know how well that’s going to go over with a judge/jury. As someone else posted: “your honor, how the hell does he find a fold there? It’s just so sick your honor.”

None of this matters the guy is cheating beyond doubt. If Jungleman was making the plays this guy is making it would still be cheating. Doesn't matter how good you are unless you can see all the hole cards this guys play over a protracted timeframe is impossible.

The graph isn't that good- it's just one bink in one the UBOC series tournaments and the average buy-in is essentially a $20 rebuy. There are plenty of graphs with well over 100% ROI on Cereus for this time period.

Back in those days you need a 96+ rating for top-reg status, this SN had 91.

So are they any players that feel so personally aggrieved that they are willing to either:
- consult a lawyer, and/or
- contact the CGCC (http://www.cgcc.ca.gov) ?

assuming he's (only) splitting 2 ways you're looking at like 13k hands to make$20,000, which at 30 hands/hour is like ~450 hours of streamed poker games. I don't know if they do that much in a year.

He clears $20k in this session alone. Just ****ing watch it.

It seems like most people following these events think that Joey's first posts and the stream he did was an aggregation of all the craziest Postle hands. It wasn't, it was just Joey watching a random session or two and picking out the most damning hands from those two sessions. The youtube page is filled with dozens of streams just like it. Like this one I linked here, it's FILLED with super-user hands. Months and months of hands like that. Hundreds of thousands of dollars stolen by Mike Postle. While laughing at the people he steals from.

edit: Bad Beat Bill, I realize you're not arguing for Mike btw, this reply by me sounds hostile towards you, it's not meant to be
Has anyone figured out roughly how much this dude has won in the last year? My point is if he wanted to be "discreet", he'd actually have to let himself get coolered and punt off a few bluffs, not to mention actually having a losing session once in a while. He only got "caught" because he's made it so stupidly obvious. He'd still probably post an insane winrate but - given how many ways he's splitting this - it might not be *enough* to make a scheme like this actually worth doing.

naive question. When a broadcast like this is delayed, are the announcers seeing it in real time and the action and their commentary are delayed together, or is the action delayed and the announcers are seeing it and calling it in real time with the audience?

If it's the former, I think it might not be as fancy as anything like RFID readers. He could just have an audio feed.

Also, Re: the KK preflop fold. Obviously it's biased once you know he's a cheater, but you can see the look of disappointment on his face that he can't just fold outright when he looks down and sees KK. He has to go through the motions.

Told my lawyer friend about this whole incident. They said sounds like criminal charges and jail time.

Players can bring charges forth for having lost money;
Casino can bring charges for damaged reputation;
Gaming board can bring charges for violation of gaming laws.
All 3 can bring charges

re: Mike Postle cheating allegations (FAQ in first post)

This is most blatant cheating ever seen, no question anymore. His grin makes me so angry, he just knows that when he's bluffing with worst hand etc and there are two players behind him with something like ace high and they can't call him.

Don't know if this has been here, but heres Mike calling overbet all-in with AK on board 235JQ with flushdraw. Of course he's right and other player has 86. Painful to watch when losing player is also commentating the hand. Sorry for those guys who have been cheated for year(s).
