It's because our primary school system has turned to complete trash. It's tied to teaching to useless test scores, has lost all parental involvement, and is filled with literal communists spewing all kinds of anti-American bullshit. /rant

Can the overhead cameras tell what is on Postle's phone or show how he is hiding the phone from the cameras and other players?

In one of Veronica's interviews (not sure if it was with Joey or Doug) she mentioned that they picked/invited people that were "action", as in "no nits". So yea, they're all action players. And I think it was pretty obvious that they wanted to play a lot bigger than a standard $1/3. That guy that Joey interviewed mentioned that they would do a showdown to start the game so that everyone could buy in for $1k and get around the initial BI cap.

I think it was also built up and hyped in the casino as a crazy game to encourage all the idiocy that we saw.

They probably wanted it to play loose and big so there would be more to steal.

So it is like a rigged game in the back room of a bar where they invite all the biggest suckers they can find.

I don't blame Postle for playing now. That is his profession.

It would be interesting to list JFK vs non JFK sessions
I have a JFK column in my spreadsheet. There's a fairly strong correlation between godmode and JFK being in the building, because JFK is almost always in the building (ldo), and Postle cheated a lot, at least until June 2019, when the cheating became much more sporadic.
What's more curious is that there are several sessions where JFK was definitely not there, and godmode still occurred. e.g. There are 4 dates when JFK was in the Bahamas. Two of these are so far uninvestigated fully. Godmode occurred in the other two. So, for those sessions at least, we have a 50%+ correlation between cheating and JFK's absence.
In short, Postle didn't need JFK to be there.
Likewise with the commentators, there are many confirmed godmode sessions where none of the usual commentators were there. Indeed, since the number of confirmed cheating sessions keeps going up, there are questions to be asked about the sessions where Postle didn't cheat. We're trying to find out those reasons. (An answer for a couple of sessions is that his suspected accomplice was busy doing something else, like commentating, or managing the floor, rather than being in the peek room).

Thanks for doing this. Originally that session was marked as "probably no Godmode", then "possible intermittent godmode", but now we've had an extra pair of eyes on it, I've changed it to "On".
FWIW, here's a read-only version of the current sheet, still unfortunately showing many uninvestigated streams, but with a lot more green "Godmode on" sessions than when I first looked at it: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets...it?usp=sharing

Re: Mike Postle cheating allegations (FAQ in first post)

Inviting action players doesn't make the game rigged. It means that the people running the game aren't morons. Home games get built around a pool of whales/fish all the time. You don't see 6 nits sitting a round a table pushing 4BB pots back and forth.

Why so much passion on this topic ?
The guy cheated as we already saw 6959441 times, now he is getting prosecuted as a result so what else is there to discuss ?
Just move on.

He’s not being prosecuted yet unless you have some info not posted to the thread...

He will likely be. No matter what, what is there to discuss ? The guy did not come out publicly to defend himself, hasn't given any news, the lawsuit has not made any progress, so I dont get it. But its more interesting than politics or serious stuff worth discussing apparently.

It is one of the biggest poker cheating scandals in recent times and people are interested to find out
1 How exactly he did it.
2 Who his helpers were.
3 How can this be prevented from happening again.

Luckily there are threads in different parts of the forum or even other forums where you can discuss such things. You ain't gotta click on this if it no longer interests you.

Despite you’re being 100% right that he 100% cheated your naivety on his being “prosecuted” is adorable. The least likely consequences for Mike are criminal

Not nearly as adorable as you believing California will not prosecute a nationally-reported story about cheating in a casino they're responsible for regulating.

Re: Mike Postle cheating allegations (FAQ in first post)

Hey guys, I have been a little off for the past two weeks. Is there any decent update summary of recent happenings?

Last thing I know was that there was a lawsuit coming and that Stones decided to "re-open the investingation."

Anything noteworthy happened since then?

What's the point if it was deliberate?
They don't get 'corrected back', the RFID error is an excuse to cover for his stupid plays.
The hands in question are not real 'RFID errors'.
If you look at the google document here and the 'hands tab' (at the bottom of that page), there are 3 hands with 'RFID error' claims:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets...gid=2044248290

1. 88 vs TT. The hand really was 88. Postle & JFK make up lies that is was something else (87).
2. 86o becoming 98s. The hand really was 86, the operator changed it to 98s (so that it looked less stupid/ridiculous, in that moment).
3. A2o. Postle claims on twitter that it was something else (AQ).

Each time Postle does the stupidest thing ever, so they try to cover it up each time by pretending that there is an 'RFID error', when there isn't one.
Each time, it is not possible that it can be something else. There is no error.
The reason it cannot be anything else - there is no way anyone could know/verify that it is precisely the other exact hand.

He will be prosecuted for bankruptcy fraud for hiding the $10,000,000 due for the judgment.

It's funny how they messed up SO MUCH yet people took years to find out about it.

The evidence shows at this time that it has been going on since July 2018 and not years. But of course, it would have been nice if this came out much sooner.
