Meanwhile Joey comes off totally different in his posts here. Levelheaded and full of a lot more content/information.

It could just be an age thing as I'm 38 and I dont watch twitch streamers play video games so I dont get into all the hype and yelling and what not. Surely I'm not the only one who prefers streamers who dont scream and act so demonstrable for hours on end.

I dont listen to Stephen A Smith on espn for similar reasons. Anyway just trying to help. You make a good point that I dont have to watch them. And I won't if it's all gonna be screaming and yelling lol
I'm a huge fan of Joey, love his podcasts, I think he's just very sleep deprived doing these deep into the night and he's also a very emotional and passionate guy who gets very caught up in it all

watch his podcasts - you'll love that guy who's well rested and not getting caught up in how awful this whole thing is - especially the pods with guys who keep coming back because they clearly get along well like with fedor

All the work done by Joey Ingram and Doug Polk and all the information uncovered in this thread is literally their job.

Live at the Bike started streaming games in 2005. The California Gaming Control Commission still hasn't created adequate regulations in all that time with procedures in place to properly do this kind of thing?

One would think 14 years would be enough time to get regulations and procedures in place to prevent a clown show like Stones Gambling Hall from occurring in the first place.

While I agree it’s absurd they haven’t created clear regulations on steamed gaming in California; why do you keep expecting them to make a public statement?

It’s often policy of agencies such as these to not say ANYTHING publicly one way or another during an open investigation. The fact that they’ve said nothing should let you know that they are investigating actively.

I know I can be a crazy person on these livestreams and repeat things often because of what I keep seeing over and over but that's how this **** makes me feel.

I'm going to let someone else take over on steaming and creating content about this for now. Might put up a few video ideas I have but I've had enough of streaming and watching this dude stare at his ****ing crotch and play perfect poker to crush these people. It's rage inducing. It was fun.
Joey don't listen to that pos, that's his opinion and his alone. You were avging 2k+ people on youtube alone, plus twitch numbers, for the past 3 days, which is a mother ****ing weekend, from 10pm to the early morning, 2 full weeks after the story first broke; triple those numbers prior to this weekend.

I'm not sure what that douche is hating on exactly, bc i didn't notice it, but if it's about how hyped up you get, those moments are actually my favorite part of the stream. Ppl like this guy don't see actors, singers, youtubers as people, they idolize them and see them as things for entertainment and are too dumb to realize that they can go watch a different video/stream if they don't like what they see. They have no idea how hard it is to work to build a brand and stay motivated to create content.

Here are things I thought as I was watching your stream:

1) This guy is fooking hilarious, he should try stand up comedy.
2) Oh ****, Joey is getting fired up, I've never seen this side of him before and its ****ing awesome.
2) It will be bittersweet when this is over bc of all the good times, it would be dope if Joey branched out and started another channel on topics other than poker.

Definitely a good idea to take a well deserved break from that crotch obsessed pos Postle. Have fun at runitup reno with your gf if youre going!

Great. So they are getting to the bottom of the JFK assassination? Because they haven't said anything about that either.

Look, if they want to run the games like something out of the old west, that is fine and dandy. Just let me bring my "barking iron" to sit on the table to make sure I get a square deal.

Re: Mike Postle cheating allegations (FAQ in first post)

I get people are focused on the big win rate and how it's not possible.

But people should remember with his VPIP and his insane playing style, how he is not losing money should be the bigger concern.

The comparison shouldn't be how he is winning 600BB/100 as opposed to 15BB/100, but 600BB/100 as opposed to -15BB/100.

I think you're a pro, actually. Despite being really angry about the whole situation, your ability to do 12 hours of programming in a week, unscripted, and including a bunch of humor, is amazing.

This is true, but it is still important to hound them.

Regulators are often captured by the industry they regulate, and many, many things get buried without public pressure.

so you are advocating killing people you think may have cheated in a card game?

What if you were wrong?

Talking about shooting people is the nut low these days. Be ready for a knock on your door from the men in black.

I expected better from you although that was subjectively pretty funny

So what do you want them to do/say? You want the CGCB to release a press release on whether they’ve opened an investigation at Stones and take a Q&A? I really am curious what you’re expectations are since you’ve brought it up over multiple days

Yep.

I've heard stories about Doyle Brunson playing at private games in Texas when he was in his teens and twenties. You had to bring a gun to the game to make sure you could leave with your money. It was scary.

The law may not be perfect and it may not do enough about cheating, but it's still the poker player's best friend. The fact that cardrooms provide a relatively safe, legal atmosphere for poker is what makes it possible for many rec players (many of whom are fish) to play.

I've been examining the 04-01-19 stream. I've established that after he finishes tapping a text in iMessage he usually presses the upper-left corner of the screen, which for iMessage returns you back to the list of conversations. I've also found instances where he presses the upper-left corner of the screen from the home page esp just before lowering the phone back into his lap. I was able to capture a frame of his home-screen app icons - after enhancing the color/contrast of that frame the upper-left icon on his home-screen appears green. I need some crowd-source help here to help identify all the possible iPhone apps that have a green icon. The first that comes to mind is Whatsapp. Here's the enhanced grab:

Also its probably worth considering your long term professional career. You look pretty young so maybe its not something you think about a lot but as someone who has plenty of embarrassing content out there it can hurt your long term prospects if people search you and think you aren't professional enough in your presentation.

Keep up the good work and you're welcome to whatever you choose. Its your time and career. If I were you I'd monetize the heck outta this thing while I could and try to keep building your brand in whatever way you deem fit.

Personally, I listen to podcasts and youtube and such as I lay down for bed and leave them running while I'm sleeping so I can dream about NBA, DFS, poker scandals, etc. But i need someone a little softer on the ears than what you currently provide.
Get out of here with this nonsense. Nobody - including Joey - asked for your opinion about his content, life trajectory, or anything else. If you don't like his streams, stop watching. Period. It still boggles my mind that people like you find something they aren't a fan of, and instead of just moving on to something else, instead think to themselves "I know what I'll do! I'll find that person online and tell them exactly what it is that I personally don't like about their content AND give them unsolicited advice!" Do you think that sharing your smug, entitled opinion is somehow doing Joey a favor? The guy literally sacrificed multiple days of his life to try and get to the bottom of the biggest poker scandal in over a decade and you decide to ramble on about what would be best for your little ears at bedtime. Give your head a shake.

Has anyone yet advanced the hypothesis that he had his phone in his crotch because he was sexting a girlfriend during poker games? :P

It reminded me of that old white dude Dave Patterson who wrote a letter to a Penn State football players disparaging his dreadlocks and style choices saying things like “don’t you have a girlfriend or parents to tell you that looks bad” or
Something to that effect

My expectations are very low but a little bit above complete radio silence. Maybe just admitting that they are aware there is a place in Citrus Heights, California called Stones Gambling Hall?

I know early in this thread people were asking has anyone called the CGCB and the answer was I don't know and maybe you should call. Well, has anyone called the CGCB? How do we know? Have they at least acknowledged they have received a call?

Because criminal charges from the DOJ aren't going to happen until there is some type of movement from the CGCB and so far there isn't even an indication that the CGCB even exists at this point.

Check/raise seems perfectly reasonable in these spots. Check villain's cards, then raise.

exactly. This is why I don't play in home games. The dealers, management, security, etc. all have an interest in not losing their jobs and also report to a gaming commission that has the authority to put them in prison. Brick and mortar casinos don't need to cheat, the house edge and rake makes them plenty of money and they are risk adverse these days.

There are exceptions of course (Stones) but for the most part it's pretty safe to play in a legal casino.

We'll probably need to keep searching for a better picture - I have an older IPhone without that much stuff but can say A LOT of apps are green - Whatsapp is that bright electric green, normal text message is the same green, normal phone(to call people and go to contacts) is green, and Facetime on mine is green. Those are the only 4 green apps I personally have but that's a pretty common color for apps.

Tuchman’s under the gun podcast contains great content. In fact 5 hours of amazing content regarding Postle and the investigation.

We have a player who played and got cheated by Postle interviewed.
We have the poker gfx creator interviewed
We have Veronica interviewed and more.
I think the lawyer from the lawsuit is interviewed as well.

Episode 158

I realize i didnt type that very clearly. I meant I have a lot of embarrassing internet content out there from my younger "idgaf" days that I regret some of. Just trying to give some friendly advice because hes obviously developing a nice following so it might be a good idea to keep his content slightly cleaner to keep all his options open down the road.

If he wants to keep growing it's never a bad idea to listen to people who give you feedback on your content. Both Good and bad.

I've watched quite a few Doug Polk videos on the subject. And I wanted to watch some of his for his perspective and I was put off by all the yelling. I should have given my feedback more constructively. And for that I apologize.

Anyway keep up the good work on the investigation. I hope all these guys go down hard but it's gonna be quite the uphill battle to prove any of this or seek any financial retribution. So we need all do our part to publicize the information and spread it through various mediums. If he wants to reach more people it's not the worst idea to not spend so much of the time yelling. Just my opinion. Hes welcome to do whatever he wants with it. This will be my last post on the subject.

Back to the story. It's a lot more interesting than my takes on Joey's YouTube content.
