Joey, is it possible to be less annoying during your videos so we can watch them. Appreciate all your hard work but I cant listen to you for more than 30-45 seconds before I have to change the channel. You just repeat yourself over and over with like a nervous tic or something without really ever saying anything...
You take over the streams. I started to lose my mind a bit at about 15 hours into things. Watching this guy **** people up left and right is demoralizing. I'm not a professional streamer, I've barely have done them over the years outside podcasts.

My impression is you are very authentic, so please don't bend yourself.

If people don't like the show, they are free to move on...

Agreed. I generally don't watch streamers because of fakeness but never got that vibe off Joey, his interactions with chat are hilarious at times, esp when he threatens to ban people

Keep it up Joey

Re: Mike Postle cheating allegations (FAQ in first post)

Much love guys - I've never understood watching someone if you don't like watching them or complaining about someone for not being how you want them to be. I go spend my time on someone else. Not everyone's going to like you and you aren't going to like everyone else. I know I can be a crazy person on these livestreams and repeat things often because of what I keep seeing over and over but that's how this **** makes me feel.

I'm going to let someone else take over on steaming and creating content about this for now. Might put up a few video ideas I have but I've had enough of streaming and watching this dude stare at his ****ing crotch and play perfect poker to crush these people. It's rage inducing. It was fun.

Re: Mike Postle cheating allegations (FAQ in first post)

whats funny is ive seen some tweets be like "omg the victims should thank Joey and give him a cut if they win the lawyer case"

when in all actuality joey has made anywhere from $6.5- 10k+ from youtube donations alone and a small chunk of that has been coming from the victims themselves from what i've seen

Up to you. You could always do a stream once every 4 days or so covering the topic of Mike Postle. The poker community owes you a big thank you for shedding light on this crazy unprecedented situation. You are an excellent live streamer with your attention to detail and your ability to disect and respond to the chat.

But make no mistake you are not beating a dead horse here. This Mike Postle situation needs and needed someone to spend 100s if not even 1000s of hours to get to the bottom of what the hell happened, and im glad you are doing it through live streamingg and video content.

Joey, if it wasn't for you and Polk, this thing could have easily blown over and been forgotten, like so many previous cheating scandals.
You deserve all the credit in the world.

Re: Mike Postle cheating allegations (FAQ in first post)

Apologies in advance if this session has already been discussed. If it hasn't, it'll provide plenty of amusement to those of you that aren't big fans of Apostle...

14 Mar 2019 – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2igxMKN3WxY

32:30 – Mike has AQ v QQ on QJ3r and doesn’t lose a cent post flop.
1:00:40 – Mike value bets the perfect amount to get paid by J8 on T28TA
1:10:00 – With A3, Mike puts his opponent in a tough river spot on J4246. Opponent has the best hand (A9).
1:23:30 – Mike tries to get revenge, but can’t vs this hero.
1:28:25 – Mike goes for a break
1:58:45 – Mike’s back for revenge but can’t get it. Loses the min though.
2:07:00 – Mike puts Rich in a tough river spot again.
2:16:15 – Mike has lost his balls.
2:31:30 – Imagine how tilted he is at this point.
2:37:00 – Mike’s bet size is unusual here relative to his normal strategy (normally betting the perfect amount to ensure a call). Tilty.
2:40:00 – Mike folds the best hand. Still tilty.
3:24:30 – LOL.
3:38:40 – Mike’s forcing it.
3:41:30 – King please. King? Please? Pleeeease???
3:46:17 – LOL at playing CTO and still sucking this much
3:55:30 – Small win to the puffy hat guy
3:57:40 – Comeback?
4:00:51 – Pause it here. I have a live read to show you... When karma is nibbling on your opponent's anus, this is the face they make.... Good fold champ.
4:09:30 – Hahahah... The old ¼ pot lead on the river to ensure you lose the minimum and the guy raises you. LOL. What a session Apostle.

I dont mean to discourage you I just think you'd reach a wider audience if you were a little less hyper. To each his own It just seems a little over the top to yell F this over and over.

Also its probably worth considering your long term professional career. You look pretty young so maybe its not something you think about a lot but as someone who has plenty of embarrassing content out there it can hurt your long term prospects if people search you and think you aren't professional enough in your presentation.

Keep up the good work and you're welcome to whatever you choose. Its your time and career. If I were you I'd monetize the heck outta this thing while I could and try to keep building your brand in whatever way you deem fit.

Personally, I listen to podcasts and youtube and such as I lay down for bed and leave them running while I'm sleeping so I can dream about NBA, DFS, poker scandals, etc. But i need someone a little softer on the ears than what you currently provide.

And, thanks to Joey for all his work here. You got the ball rolling and now we can leave it in the hands of the lawyers. Hopefully you put some more stuff together at some point - because 99% of your audience enjoys it and appreciates it. And yes, the other 1% should just switch off.

Also, I'd like to see the people go down in this order:

1) The casino. They deserve to get absolutely smoked for lack of supervisory oversight.

2) JFK. This dude is as scummy as they come

3) Mike Postle. What a delusional whack job. Guy needs serious help. The game passed him by a decade ago and this is the way he chose to try to hang on. But hes nowhere near as scummy as JFK IMO

Also I'd like to weigh in and say we all clearly know he was cheating but I cant figure out any real conceivable way that anything comes of this.

Its virtually impossible to prove and the casino is gonna be lawyered up to the gills.

The best thing to do is vote with your feet and refuse to play there going forward. But I don't know if I'd count on a bunch of degens to really come through on this.

Some humans simply have a negative nature. They subconsciously seek things that annoy them to fuel their negativity. It's rather masochistic when you think about it, but that's what self-hatred can do to a person. On a core human nature level, this is why a lot people are glued to the mainstream media / political opinion - they want to get triggered and frustrated all day long. This personality type uses other people as punching bags to vent their self-inflicted pain.

This same personality type is solipsistic as well. If they perceive something as "annoying", they then believe that it is universally annoying to all. They have zero concept of fact / opinion because they're too busy hating themselves all day long.

Lol I can certainly identify with some of what you've said here. But I cant be the only one who finds all the yelling, hyperness, and constant F-bombs annoying. I want to hear about the story but Joey's videos he seems to sorta become the story. It's like I'm watching a caricature of himself rather than him just being himself. Like I said I like to listen to podcasts while I lay down to go to bed. To each his own but I can never make it past a
Minute before I switch to someone else's videos.

Meanwhile Joey comes off totally different in his posts here. Levelheaded and full of a lot more content/information.

It could just be an age thing as I'm 38 and I dont watch twitch streamers play video games so I dont get into all the hype and yelling and what not. Surely I'm not the only one who prefers streamers who dont scream and act so demonstrable for hours on end.

I dont listen to Stephen A Smith on espn for similar reasons. Anyway just trying to help. You make a good point that I dont have to watch them. And I won't if it's all gonna be screaming and yelling lol

Re: Mike Postle cheating allegations (FAQ in first post)

Ultimately, the organization that should really have their feet held to the fire is the California Gaming Control Commission. Have they at least publicly acknowledged that they are even aware that an incident might have occurred at Stones Gambling Hall?

All the work done by Joey Ingram and Doug Polk and all the information uncovered in this thread is literally their job.

Live at the Bike started streaming games in 2005. The California Gaming Control Commission still hasn't created adequate regulations in all that time with procedures in place to properly do this kind of thing?

One would think 14 years would be enough time to get regulations and procedures in place to prevent a clown show like Stones Gambling Hall from occurring in the first place.
