I love his terrible acting jobs whenever he makes an insane fold that he never ever should make.

there was a round of 100$ blind on that hand... it was effectively calling 2.3bbs in a MW pot

That doesn't make sense. Even if he has a 200% mtt ROI and only gets to keep 15% of his cash game score, he's still making more money playing cash. The real question is has he ever played a tournament when a cash game live stream was running.

It sounds a lot like jealousy to me. These people hurling accusations without legitimate proof is telling about their character.

Just because a situation is beyond your comprehension does not mean something nefarious is happening. A lot of these accusations come from players who are no longer able to beat the games and are using their popularity in the community to enforce their false beliefs.

It's sad really, of all people I'd assumed that poker players would be more analytical about a situation before jumping to conclusion, but then again if these people were able to think that way, they would still be beating the games they once played.

Just reading through the replies on the first page of this thread, it's so funny all the people defending this guy even though he is obviously cheating. While I'm sure that it's obvious for the smart people, it doesn't seem to be obvious to the dumb people.

Didnt watch a ton besides that KK fold vs AA, which maybe isn't an inconceivable fol, but his body language during that hand was. He was like smirking "Aw shucks" then folded KK after thinking about it for like a minute. Fairly certain NO ONE EVER has folded KK in this way in a cash game while playing in an honest game.

Ok I'll bite. What's the obvious exploit here?

There's only one other decent stack worth targeting, which has J3 crushed with QJ. So given the equity is so poor against all other stacks, what's the play?

This guy either knows Mike in person, or is a reg at stones and can't allow himself to believe the truth. Probably retweets Bill Pulte's giveaways like most of the people defending Mike do.

LOL. I don't understand how naive some people can be to honestly think that this guy grinds $1/3 and $100 donkaments for 15 years and then just turns into Garrett + Dwan + Pluribus on steroids and BEASTS 5/10 and 10/25/50 on stream.

You don't postpone the Super Bowl just because there was some cheating in a pee wee football game. No way in hell you shut down the Trooper's game because some low level bum has been cheating.

BTW, stream is running right now just showing the players seats and it says Postle will be in seat 6.

re: Mike Postle cheating allegations (FAQ in first post)

I was thought it was very likely he was cheating early on itt (let alone after all the new crazy hands came to light) because of the QJo vs Marle.

Mike was in BB with QJo vs Marle's LP open with QT.

He X/C ~.5pot cbet on J98dds and X/F ~.75pot turn cbet on 4s bring another FD.
I don't play holdem anymore but it's a spot where you just gotta X/C turn and decide river.
This is completely incongruent with his play in other spots. I just can't really fathom this from a player who's willing to put in inf BB with absolute bottom of range vs players who are relatively uncapped in spots.

With that said,

Are there any examples of him X/C flop with like 2nd pair and X/F turn with the best hand vs someone?

Back to the RFID, was he always in the same seat when he claimed it was malfunctioning?

If he had 88 vs TT (994T8) it's just as crystal clear as it can get without literally KNOWING. But that was one that was claimed to have been RFID error. 87 alleged. Pretty bizarre hand to show up there with. What was his plan on non 8/7 river? Lead? This is the same guy that X/F QJo remember. Doesn't add up.

re: Mike Postle cheating allegations (FAQ in first post)

its honestly not a matter of IF but WHEN this would happen. for all we know this has already happened but we were unable to detect it bc it was done by actual high-level pros. Postles lack of knowledge of poker / pure arrogance has allowed us to catch him. hopefully some good can come of this with stricter rules and regulations in place to protect players in the future.

Credits to Veronica2.0 on twitter for initially raising suspicions and Joey for using his platform and hundreds of hours of his time to bring this all to light. I considered playing on the stones live cast when I was in the area a few years back and feel like I've dodged a bullet

re: Mike Postle cheating allegations (FAQ in first post)

This goes so far beyond just Postle cheating. The fact that the entire Stones Live crew, from the broadcasters to the technical staff to the floor and casino security, let this go on for MONTHS without a peep and have the gall to still defend the integrity of these games is criminally negligent.

Stones Live should be shut down immediately, the Stones poker room should face a serious investigation and heavy fines from the California Gaming Commission, and Postle and his co-conspirator(s) should be arrested and sent to jail. The man is part of a team that literally stole over $100k ON CAMERA and is being allowed to walk free. Absolutely disgusting.

"Mike's gonna fold" without him even starting to tank yet, like it's obvious he will, when he's getting like 3:1 with TPTK on a fairly draw-y board.

Flop comes TT2r, Mike bluffs & wins. He doesn't have to hit the flop that should be obvious.

re: Mike Postle cheating allegations (FAQ in first post)

And things are starting to sound familiar:

Absolute Poker's initial announcement.

“We have yet to find any evidence of wrong doing. Our game client only receives data regarding the individuals hand and no other players hole cards, except in the event of a showdown. We have researched their play exhaustively and have found no proof that they had any knowledge of other player’s hole cards. So far we have no evidence that substantiates claims that any of the players were involved in chip dumping, or any other improper activity.”

Stones Casino:

Stones Live denied the accusations and said they have “conducted a full investigation.”
