Anthony and Postle have both 43o. Anthony bets flop and Postle folds.
It was a limped pot. Jesus christ you're example of him folding the best hand is bottom pair bottom kicker in a limped pot when he is tied. LOL.

And the graphics missed two players cards, might be why he folded.

Presumably, most live streams simply have greater security measures which would not allow one employee to do this without it being caught [security camera, log data on the computer, a second security officer who signs off on anything done by the first guy]. Or at least, I am sure they will have those policies after this.
I think it is entirely possible that Postile breached the network --- especially if the hole card stream was insecurely (i.e. No password or weak password) broadcast on the same network as the public WiFi.

Even if the IP range was setup something like this

Public WiFi 192.168.0.1/24
Private WiFi/"Internal" Hardwired Network 192.168.1.1/24

If the network was setup improperly... such as, there being a route between the two subnets, Postile totally could have used apps on his phone to find this. Hell, he wouldn't have to be in the casino if the public wifi were accessible in the parking lot and this type of insecure setup was present.

This is just a theory though

So the best you can do is when he flops bottom pair no kicker to a chop?

not to mention he could be folding to waste less time because spending time playing several streets for a chopped pot is making less money than just folding and moving on to the next hand

What the hell are you talking about? Basically nowhere on earth I'm aware of has a 1000bb initial buyin cap of 1/3 plo.
The best hotbed for PLO in recent times was Western Canada post oil boom and the 10/20 game you could get that hourly.
An *absolute crusher* in a 1/3 PLO game with a 200bb cap (standard pretty much everywhere) could *maybe* get to $90ish an hour, but you won't feel great about your sample.

There is *nobody* on earth averaging $500 an hour in a 1/3 PLO game. You don't get dealt enough hands per hour. You don't get to play enough hands in position an hour. If you are playing too many hands and too many hands out of position, you're just praying on variance.

LOL nice try Mike/GoDeep. When terrible defending doesn’t work, spin a sick tale about being the patsy in a scheme to make you a “poker superstar”.

It’s too bad poker is full of nerds because this dude needs a kneecapping. Maybe the civil suit will at least financially kneecap him

It makes sense for the bike to do it since its the least popular of the three. Im not saying its not good marketing, it is, and HG and Commerce would benefit from a live stream, but to suggest a player could become a superstar and extort 1 million dollars by threatening to leave, or that there was some conspiracy to create a god of poker for monetary reasons other than the chips won at the table is just about the dumbest thing I have ever heard.

Re: Mike Postle cheating allegations (FAQ in first post)

Who is willing could easy speculate the other way. Like Mike knew how to cheat with this system and presentet his "Dream Show and Poker-Superstar" rubbish to Julian bc he also knew that Julian was dumb enough to then get the rfid-table and Mike knew that he would get his chance to set this up.

This also would make a good story, no?

I hadn't seen anyone post Postle's on stream graph so I went to the investigation spreadsheet to take a look for myself.

Does anyone know if he offers coaching?

No caps in Stones.

That 1000bb deep number is from stream I watched, where Postle played. What it means game is not 1/3, but like 10/20ish. A little bit lower, but not much.

Postle is missing some river value (if he knew opponent cards).

If I work in casino, I will not hire you to be my "Poker God". +EV or -EV are not relevant anymore if you know what exactly your opponent "Hole Card" are. EV takes into account when there are infinite numbers of probability. If he know the exact holding, "Poker God" mission is to cracked it and win huge pot.

I have noticed most of the time, he will not opt to "GOD" mode on pre. It is easy to explain why. 9 players on the table and you as a "Poker God", how much time you want to spend staring at your lab for 16 cards? "GOD" just need to put small money in whenever there are connector or gap connector to crack any two opponent cards. When "GOD" needs to make a huge decision, then only he start to find information that hide on his lab.

But like, it isn't. Stones also had an original buyin cap, but you could reload to the biggest stack. A deep 1/3 game does not play like 10/20. I have played many deep 1/3 games where I've had ~5k. I've played 10/20 as well. They are not the same. You have no idea what you are talking about.

Ok. How big would you estimate 1000bb deep 1/3 to be comparing 100bb deep games? Like 3 times bigger than 100b deep? 4? More? My estimate was 6, but might be way off.

This thread needs some comic relief. Watch Alysha's celebration of this win over Postle, and listen to Joe Ingram's commentary. It's priceless.

That hand perfectly sums up just how stupid, scummy and brazen everyone involved was.

1. Going nuts with 95o in the most superuser-like way.

2. "I've got you" <turns gutshot> "Oh ****" <holds> "You scared me there" - All before hole cards were revealed!

3. Justin and Taylor both coming out of the booth to sweat the hand live. LOL

It's so fricking absurd

That’s impossible especially for plo where you are capped the only raising size of the pot.
Max rfi for 1/3 plo is like the SB in 10/20.

I'm a reg in the stones 1/3 and 2/5 games. Only played on stream once as I don't particularly like the idea of playing for an audience. The 1/3 can play very deep, but it's also table dependant.. At the deepest its still nowhere close to 10/20 tho. On average it plays more like a 2/5 and in extreme cases where there are multiple deep stacks and straddles it CAN play like a 5/10.

Quoting the "wrong" post is fairly common in forums like this. Person X posts something. Person Y quotes Person X. Person Z (reading the thread chronologically) wants to also reply to Person X but doesn't want to take the time to find the original post, so simply quotes Person Y's post.

It is almost always harmless and unintentional (even if it is occasionally a bit confusing).

Its all relative, thats why we use bbs in the first place. Let's just assume, for simplicity sake, that Stone's Live games are uncapped. A 1/3 game that was uncapped is going to be bigger than a 1/3 game that is capped. If there is an action player at the game, then yea there will be more action. Maybe it might play "bigger" as in larger avg pot than certain 10/20 games, but not all 10/20 games. It might play similar to a weekday or sunday 10/20 game, but certainly not a Thu/Fri/Sat game. Pots will get bigger in uncapped games where players are deeper than 100 bb. Plays that are -EV 100bb or less become +EV when deeper. Basically, you are comparing apples and oranges.

Wait - so can I or can I not make $1000/hr playing $1/$3 PLO?

I've got my resignation letter all printed - but I need confirmation before I slide it under my boss' door.

Basically even with a small player pool (as any plo game has), the variance in PLO games is just too massive to rate. Sometimes the action player is down early and the game plays massive. Sometimes they're mellow. Sometimes straddles/restraddles are happening all night, other nights they don't. About half of PLO games in north America feature a bring in, in addition to the blind.

Genuinely, if people are playing well, a super deep game should be *more* passive than one that isn't. Getting stacked for 300+bb in PLO or any other game is a massive error in most situations.

This is a long way to say no one with a decent sample is averaging $500 an hour, never mind $1000 or anywhere near that in a 1/3 PLO game.

These games also usually break the second the whale leaves and last time I was in Vegas I had two PLO games break when I was there.
