From what I know about photography - the hue isn't going to change much based on lighting. Color is the frequency of the reflected (or in this case generated) light. It's hard to change this. Obviously the two screens are going to produce a slightly different hue. But manufacturers try to get that as close to "true" as possible.

This is how you can tell what elements the sun and other stars are made up. The light frequency stays constant - doesn't matter if you view it from space or filtered through the earth's atmosphere. The only way it would change is if you were moving really fast. In fact astronomers use this red shift, knowing spectral signatures of common elements of the stars - to tell how fast they're moving away from us.

Also how many times do you see a bright blue screen like that one a phone - especially where most of it is empty space - on any app or homescreen?
There are lots of factors here. First, every display device will have a different color calibration. Second, there's the color response of the Stone's cameras that captured the video, then the gamma conversion that encoded that video, then the compression applied, then the possible recompression at YT/Twitch. Lots and lots of color transformations. If they needed to a color technician could profile all the displays involved and come up with a set of LUTs to definitively map one color to another to prove whether or not the screen on Mike's phone matches the server. But it'll probably be much easier to just do a forensic check of all the devices and network logs instead to prove that out.

Ironic how Mike used to check his phone every 30 seconds to cheat but now checks it every 30 seconds to see if the next shoe has dropped.

CTRs are totally unrelated to flying.

You need to declare (to customs) when you are carrying more than $10K USD when going through US customs, and more than $10K CAD going through Canada customs. No CTR.

Yes. He realised the other player picked up a draw on the turn. But I'm really glad you posted that hand, because I just noticed something that's become more relevant in the light of recent developments.
JFK (the stream manager) is clearly seen at the table with a stepladder (the lights had blown) just in time for the showdown in this massive pot. He says to someone on the left "Please tell me we've got that on tape", just as a certain production team member appears on the left. He's on crutches. And he says "I give up poker", before hobbling off (back to the control room?). That is Taylor Smith.

When you're flying with that much cash, civil asset forfeiture is probably the main worry

"All told, any damages won by the plaintiffs will be distributed on a pro rata basis among the plaintiffs. Each plaintiff would be awarded a share based on the number of minutes he or he spent at the table during the 68 streamed sessions where cheating allegedly occurred. Lead attorney Verstandig himself participated in one of the streamed games but is barred from being one of the plaintiffs under state and federal law. Nonetheless, he brings first-hand knowledge of the streamed games to the proceedings."

"Fortunately for them, a civil suit requires only "preponderance of evidence." That means the plaintiffs need only to show there is more than a 50% chance that the charges are true."

OK found it. I tried some dehaze and noise reduction but didn't get much. But Man if you just watch his entire body language and how he handles the phone - holy crap is that shady.

Look at how he's holding the phone - angled away from the players and camera. Such an unnatural position (if you watch the whole clip). Retrieve phone from crotch - keep facing away from players and camera at all times.

Yeah that's dodgy af, who holds their phone like that EVER? Then he stands up and up pops the blue screen. GG busted?

Pretty sure the first "investigation" by Stones was just our esteemed Poker Room Manager Justin saying he conducted one to try and put out the flames. So any date surrounding that would just be when he had the conversation with the ladies who brought up the allegations.

What did you find in Nov of '18?

Not CTR. It's a customs declaration form called a FinCEN 105. Here's the form. https://www.fincen.gov/sites/default...in105_cmir.pdf

You'd need to file it with a customs officer before leaving, which will usually mean finding some tiny ass office in the airport.

Anybody find footage of this? I wonder if he got screwed out of a pot by Postle.

I listened to the Matusow interview on YouTube. Postle makes no sense bs’ing his way through stuff.
Also, why is Polk afraid to play Postle heads up? Doug would destroy him.

But as much as I like Berkey's work I think that Soto dude is a bit of a low life worm. Especially they way he went after Veronica. Difficult life changing decision for her to bring this out and he has no clue. This guy sat in a car with her for "two hours" and expects her to pour out her heart. I have to call Soto up on his scummy part in the Berkey vlog.

Or if you are flying a decent airline, the flight attendants will hand them out and collect them. Or maybe that is if you are VIP or something.

Why nobody is talking about this hand?

It is so eerie because seems pretty obvious he already know what his opponent hole card are before villain shows. Listen to what he say when the turn comes 7c. His reaction was "Oh shxt" because 46s on villain hole card have a chance for runner runner. So disgusting and still laughing out loud there.
That is one of the most talked about hands. Joey & Doug go in depth about it. Doug gets pissed.
