Is it just me or at 1:01:30 when postle is describing why he lives in Cali. It seems like he's starting to say he likes living there because it's a great area for tech but then he starts to stumble over it as he realizes he claimed he has no technical knowledge and can't say that. Which obv doesn't line up with the tech business he claimed on his linked in page before he took it down.
Nice catch. Funny clip too. Sounds like he says "Like there's ya know tech ehhh"

Yes, good catch. I think this is probably why he stumbles over the word tech.

so just been reading through coltranedog's tweets; he states two employees involved (pretty much says one is Justin) and they're trying to put together more evidence..... God(mode) speed, in that case.

I wanted to hear from him first before making a definite decision either way - I said 100% something out of line was happening but I wanted to hear him explain himself. Once I heard that, I made my decision.

After watching this video, I have no more doubt.

Others around him supporting him? I've seen like 3 troll posts. He is claiming hundreds of people who know him are supporting him, I believe that just as much as I believe his claims he is innocent.

I've probably spoken w/ about 10-15 people supporting him privately and dealt w/ more who appear to be from the area or linked to Mike on the platforms.

I haven't had anyone message me supporting his claim as a poker crusher at this point outside one friend who said Mike did well online back in the day.

Yea upon further review there doesn't seem to be anything to that bit - someone else posted that they saw a higher amount(like $200) which is what got me looking but if it's $1-10 or w/e normal this is nothing.

Rather than saying what he "pretty much says" why not just post his tweets that are of interest here?

There actually is tech like that, the method in the video below uses marked infrared card edge reading but if he had a floor person on the inside, all he would need is the RFID codes inside the cards, or access to that, and the phone could easily deduce the order of the deck, and could explain his seat choice often being seat #2. It would also allow him to read the deck from the dealers left hand once the cards are dealt and be in range.

Also, a modified iPhone with a different NFC chip or even a mock (fake) iPhone with a high powered reader that is grabbing the weak signals from the deck, or a directional based beam reader that uses rebound signals would work. It would make it even easier if there were loaded decks and Veronica is correct that security was low, I doubt that anybody would question the cards as being part of his gig.

This video shows a very simple implementation of a lower tech version using the infrared method I mentioned above:

FWIW: I am a tech expert, I've got over a decade of professional high level development experience on experimental technology, and have worked for very popular Fortune 50 companies you've heard of, as well as the government.

That being said, I don't think this is the method he's using. He doesn't seem smart enough if he isn't smart enough to hide his cheating and is being so blatant with the plays he makes. I think it's most likely that he's simply got a feed to the peek room or some app that is sending coded messages that tell him what people have. Even using coded messaging via an SMS integration online that is stealing the card info from the room via trojan. There's tons of ways, but what I highly doubt is that there's any high tech answer. Him being involved in the setup of the room is paramount evidence that he probably has some sort of inside track to complete information from the game.

I'm aware of that technology, but for that particular device the deck must be placed directly in front of a camera (in that demo video, I think it's a fake phone with a pinhole camera on the side).

It would not be possible to cheat in that way without every dealer being an accomplice making sure to put the deck down in a precise spot so it could be read every hand. I don't think it would be possible to scan the deck with they keys on the rail either, they would have to be on the felt.

That device also has nothing to do with RFID, it works by reading a barcode in ink that is only visible in infrared.

Re: Mike Postle cheating allegations (FAQ in first post)

I'm not sure how important or relevant it is to figure out when he started using the hat in whatever he was doing. I imagine it started off as a simple system that evolved over time. Could the keys play a part in something? Possibly but who knows.

What was the hat used for and who was talking to him and why if he had access on his phone?? Maybe he didn't want to make it super suspicious every time and used a mixed strategy. Maybe something else. We might be able to find out when the hat started to become more of a thing and a time when he stopped looking at the crotch as much during the session.

Absolutely, just offering a low tech implementation of a worse piece tech, sorry if I wasn't clear, some people may be able to extrapolate a more complicated solution from the simple implementation I posted. But my last paragraph should be pretty clear that I don't think there's any tech involved.

I think he simply has complete information from an insider. That being said, I've seen and worked on technology that is way beyond what I linked and I know that it exists. Not in consumer circles however, and he probably has no way to get his hands on it.

He's too bad at cheating to be using any technology at all.

Notice how in addition to the blue background both have a white bar at the top of the screen. This is where the app shows the list of systems available to connect to.

Re: Mike Postle cheating allegations (FAQ in first post)

If the keys are suspicious (people say he's gone through several key fobs, I don't know), depending on how strict Stones' no-phone policy is (eg. are they actually forcing people to turn over their phones before the stream? IIRC live at the bike has done this for high stakes streams) I wonder if it could be receiving the audio signal to work with the bone-conduction headphones.

I think it's next to impossible that the key fob (if it is more than just a key fob) has any role in actually reading the cards.

He always has his phone. Originally there was no phone policy being enforced. Later there was a phone policy but it did not appear to be too strict.

You are a "tech expert" and Postle could have an RFID reader which he uses to determine the order of cards in the deck.

My only doubt is whether or not the white bar at the top of Mike's iPhone screen is real or a reflection from lighting above. If you single-step the frames of the YT video the white bar moves as he walks, indicating it might be reflected light. Another possibility is it moves due to an artifact of YT compression, or is part of the transition dissolve being done on the live video cut to a different camera angle. That doesn't eliminate it being the Google Remote Desktop app but makes it less of a visual match. Here's the video link with time-jump to 24:30 for reference - use the comma and period keys after pausing to step backwards and forward single frames:
