Alright i just thought he could have been any old graphic designer they hired. Watching Mike interviewed its clear he thinks hes a god regardless of the cheating. So i genuinely think if he rewatched 4-5 sessions straight on stream he wouldn't think its out of the realm of possibilities. I think everyone assumes he had an inside man on it so how could this person not see his play and not tell him to back it off. They would have to be clueless to poker right? If you had a cheating partner superusing a live game wouldn't you pay close attention to what it looks like as to make sure you don't get caught. I get that Mike is a complete moron for not realizing himself while hes playing but if he has a partner can they be as dumb?

Mike Postle better hope those winrate #s are way off like he insists because in the interview he admitted that strictly going off those winrates there would be a 99.99% chance of something weird going on.

The smart thing to do was just act oblivious as ****. Say you are usually terrible and that you somehow have gone on an insane run this year. That was the best route. Not claiming you are a god lol.

1st few minutes he is at thunder valley
4:42 he is in the stones parking garage
4:50 he goes inside Stones
5:12 - 8:00 streaming employee is checking on the table's cameras while Andrew talks about poker hands
When I shot a PokerStars event at Stones more than a year ago, there was a malfunction at the TV table. As I recall, it was during a cash game with Negreanu, Moneymaker, Johnnie Vibes, Jonathan Little and a bunch of Stones regs. They had to pause the game, and some guy (can't remember his name) went under the table to reconnect some cables. I used the flashlight on my phone to help him see.

As one would guess, there's a bunch of gear down there. You know the movie cliche when someone has to cut a green wire to disarm a bomb? Looked like that.

Some of it controls what I assume is the RFID gear. Other equipment deals with the audio: the table is mic'd, so the people in the booth effectively silence their own mics in favor of what the players are saying. We've seen this in effect many times on the streams, including the clips Joey has shown.

Oh, and to think this was taken in a simpler time:

Got curious, somehow PokerNews got its hands on a few of my photos. A little credit would be nice??

Re: Mike Postle cheating allegations (FAQ in first post)

Mike says he plays at a bunch of casinos in the area:

Thunder Valley
Cordova
Magnolia House
FLB

It would be interesting if anyone sees him out playing in those casinos. BTW, has Stones taken any actions to suspend Postle from playing at Stones until this "independent" investigation is done or is he still allowed to play at Stones if he wants?

Yes, it would be very interesting to contact those rooms and ask the management/staff if Mike is a regular there.

If you have knowledge of hole cards, see flops, it is easy to bet people off their hands knowing exactly what they have.

Agree they are table max games. Which is why if you are stacking people every few hands there is no reason for him to top up... He claims he kept topping off and adding to his stacks which is why his profits are not reflected accurately. I mean, we can add stacks...

Yep.

Let the video run until the camera angle changes and you can pretty clearly see the bulge in the left side of his hat. Almost certainly a bone induction headset up in there.

Re: Mike Postle cheating allegations (FAQ in first post)

Another poster said this is the first stream that cheating is suspected. It seems at the start of the stream he is reaching way under the table and initially during the play the keys are no where to be seen. The keys are introduced and then the shenanigans start. At one point Mike walks away from the table and when he comes back it looks like he puts a separate set of keys in his shirt pocket, or at least something that he tries to do a good job of covering up. When he sits down he puts the other set of car keys on the rail in front of him but before he does so he looks to flip the fob around and push a button. Sure fobs lock cars right? Do you know of anyone that actually trusts their fob to lock their car once they are inside the poker room and at the table? Most people do that when they are within 100 feet of their car.

Re: Mike Postle cheating allegations (FAQ in first post)

Guys, all this talk about "how can be so stupid" is pretty easily explained

He had gotten away with it for at least two years

Is quite possible he was cheating earlier but was much more subtle about it then, only using it for a single big pot or two

For example, for all the talk about how dumb he is, he seems to do the exact perfect thing each time

Just think of how nervous he would have been the first few times he did it, how worried he'd be about getting caught and how careful that would make him

I imagine that over time he got both more confident he wouldn't get caught and got better at exploiting it. At some point, he would feel that when he didn't go over the top for max value that he was leaving money in the table

When you've had that much success, you are probably thinking you'd have another 20k right now if you had only done x, y, z instead of wow this is getting absurd, maybe I should slow it down

I'm absolutely certain he was cheating before there's any evidence of it because he likely wanted to do a test run or was super cautious about it and only used it sporadically

Re: Mike Postle cheating allegations (FAQ in first post)

Someone correct me If I'm wrong.

But generally if you are on your cell phone constantly and continue to check it in your lap is there not a time when you actually have to respond to something or someone. He continually keeps it there and other than the apparent quick click he never grabs it or sends or responds to anything even though he stated something like he was using it to manage a bunch of people. In actual fact he appears to do all he can to hide the phone in his lap and rarely or never bring it in to view during game play.

1. In general... the truth is that there are a hell of a lot of scumbags in live poker. This sort of thing literally goes on all the time. Many would consider it "part of the hustle", or just a different form of having an edge. So many of you seem to think you've caught this single guy and feel like he must be held to account and karma / righteousness must reign down upon him+whomever else is involved. This is being naive and not really living in reality. The sad truth is that many posting here would do the same if they had the chance. How many of us at some point or another wished we somehow had psychic abilities to read others thoughts at the table ?

Sure, most of us all hold fairness as a virtue to some degree ... but the moral signalling of some people is just funny. Like "OMG, he was cheating a cancer patient..." . Truth is if you've played for a living you have won a bunch of money of people (or .. "that massive fish lol" ) who have had serious problems in their lives.

2. In the grand scheme of things, Poker/Gambling scams/dishonesty are a drop in the Ocean compared to the massive fraud and theft that is taking place constantly by the parasitic elite powers that be on the peasants. It's just you don't see this and believe it's all a part of 'civil society' Regular people that produce value and do honest work to provide for themselves/their families are kept on the mouse wheel needing to run faster and faster whilst the team which involves government/banksters/mega corps keep us in a form of comfortable slavery and selling out your childrens & societies future to enrich themselves.

I know that some may find it a little dark and somewhat out of the boundaries of this current entertaining drama but I try to give people some perspective.

You pick up a lot paying attention.

2. True. What happened after the financial crises in 08|09. Absolutely nothing since the participated parties are both the criminal and the judge. Mike Postle is the kind a guy you can make an example of since he most likely has no means to defend (buy himself out of the situation) with. The biggest scam which is running today is called tax. And how many people are exposed to that? Guessing most is answering everyone but that is not the truth since ~1 percent of the population do not pay anything. They just collect what the idiots contribute with out of their free will. The hustle is creation of money. It is brilliant. It is backed by nothing and when you read on the bills it says how owns it as well, so basically you are borrowing the money you have to "your name".

WELL SAID THE SAD REALITY OF SOCIETY THESE DAYS

Uh, I'm certainly not on the Mike is innocent side, but that line by A-Aron pretty much tells Postle he is no good on the river. Mike doesn't need extra help for that.

Mike is getting a mediocre 1.75 to 1 to call when he has bet, bet, and facing a massive river donk on a super dry board.

I have no idea what the head and hat motions mean, but if Mike is cheating, why would he bet 2x on the flop and 1x on the turn?

Is your argument that Mike isn't receiving the information until his final river decision through his hat motions? Do you think Mike checks back if A-Aron checks the river? Or do you think he moves through with a normal decision without checking the hat if A-Aron checks back? Does he consult the hat when/if A-Aron check raises him?

This hand is relatively small in the scheme of the things, and I think a lot of solid players would play it in a similar way as Mike. How is that river donk with poor calling odds by villain not strong enough to beat trip fours plus a Q and 10 on the board when the hero has been the aggressor on flop and turn?

This hand doesn't prove anything in either way, IMO.

Watch his eyes when he presses down on the cap.

Now, imitate that hand placement and where his eyes are looking yourself.

Does that even feel remotely comfortable / natural? Or does it feel more like something you'd do if you were focusing on a quiet telephone up to your ear?

He's even looking to the side with the alleged conductive speaker, which is where the human eye would naturally go to put additional "focus" on the source of the sound.

When the lawyer binks a 7 on the river, Mike looks so pained that even the commentators remark on it, saying that the 7 is basically a blank, so how does he know? The lawyer barrels, and eventually Mike tank-raises with AQ high (which seems ridiculous) to make the lawyer fold.
Maybe this (Dec 17, 2018) is a god-mode session after all.
Watch the hand directly after this one. After betting the lawyer off with his K10, Mike still seems visibly upset. At 1:36:49 the chip graphic comes on screen, and Mike keeps looking to his left, up at the camera. There’s nobody talking at the table..Mike seems to make sure nobody is looking at him, glances back to the camera, and says something like he’s trying to communicate to someone. May be nothing...it just caught my eye. I’ve watched it numerous times, seems like he’s trying to be inconspicuous. Do we have any lip readers?

He even gives a little smile/chuckle while he's doing it and presumably hearing what to do. And after pressing down on his hat he uses finger to tuck inside and make sure his headset is tucked up in there properly.
