When the lawyer binks a 7 on the river, Mike looks so pained that even the commentators remark on it, saying that the 7 is basically a blank, so how does he know? The lawyer barrels, and eventually Mike tank-raises with AQ high (which seems ridiculous) to make the lawyer fold.
Maybe this (Dec 17, 2018) is a god-mode session after all.
This is absolutely obvious. WTF There is zero reason for his reaction to the 7 on the river unless he knows the lawyers cards. ZERO!

Mike Postle is apparently completely unaware that people can count the chips on the table on the stream.

At this point I'm waiting for Stones to reveal that it was a huge publicity stunt all along and everybody is involved so nobody was cheated. He actually challenged WGCRider Headsup ROFL.

PC 332 doesn't apply to this case. If you find a case where this was applied to poker I will correct my response, but I can't find any. I have however talked to a prosecutor who prosecuted a few people for this statute. It came up in conversation one day. Three card monte and like scams used to be a real problem in the 70s apparently.

Poker is regulated and well defined. Theft by deception and wire fraud are the only things here. The gaming statutes only care about player banked games.

You are correct in the stacking of charges, but this is liberal California, a one party pseudo-socialist country. Without the feds this guy does little or no time. This is a decently sized civil case. Prosecuting with limp laws and leftist judges won't change the behavior. As a rabid Trump, Duterte, and Bolsonaro backer, even I don't want to see Californians' money wasted on a state criminal case versus this jerk. It's an entirely futile pursuit.

Props to Mike Matusow for the elegant slow play in the interview. Got the guy to chill and drop his guard by showing up stoned. Just goes to show what can be accomplished with a skype connection and a bong hit.

Most of the videos on Bart Hanson's Crush Live Poker use footage from play at Stones.

He asked Mike M commentate over his “innocence” video he’s putting together. He’s looking for volunteers to join his team to help him with this task. Maybe Joey or Doug could throw their hat into the ring.

I think poker rooms keep track of how many chips people buy or cash out for? Legally I think they're required to do this? Should be some records for the investigators to look into.

Re: Mike Postle cheating allegations (FAQ in first post)

Listening to this podcast is I don't know which one is the junkie reflecting on their pokerboom days. How is this Postles defense "Guys im a crusher always have been always will be, suck it"

Does he not realize the best player in the world can also cheat at times? Perfect example that you'd understand is Tom Brady. Someone said you deleted a tweet about Brady cheating. Well fun fact if he can cheat at times does that mean he is always cheating? Does it mean that he isn't a God?

Also don't get me wrong 0 chance mike can beat 2-5 5-10 nl in 2019. Any single decent poker player would know with his play style hes making it obv hes cheating. If any good player was to cheat they would play normal ranges preflop and allow themselves to get blulffed, call sometimes wrong, but just be right in the big pots. This guy wanted to play every hand and win no matter what insane line it took to win the pot.

Also wtf mike the mouth you watched 2 hands before you interviewed this guy? You didn't have to watch all the raw footage but 2-3 vidoes on dougs and joeys stream.

Is it also save to assume Mike hasn't contacted a lawyer? If i was innocent or guilty here the first thing id do is contact a lawyer. Id either wanna get rich sueing espn or id want to avoid jail time. No lawyer would allow him to be interviewed

Eh...while we did get to listen to this guy just ramble, Mike could have prepared and asked him some questions and lead the conversation a little more. He could have definitely politely pressed some of mikes more interesting claims like being UB’s most winningest player for example.

I believe he’s so delusional and arrogant, to quote a wrestling term, he’s marked out on himself, essentially he bought into the gimmick that Stones was pushing, that he is in fact a poker God, and he probably felt really empowered/emboldened by being able to superuse that his peanut brain started to actually believe this.

I said this once before but think about it.
Guy won the most money on UB and just lost his graph.
Not even a screen shot.
Also didn’t pay taxes so no records of it at all.
What are the odds of that?

Mike likes to say he really didn't really win that much and then on every stream I've seen he has a monster stack.

he only got to keep half so in his mind, he only won half of it

also he's in do and say everything possible to keep it mode. So he really didn't win much because he's humble and also he's the greatest of all time.
