Theres so many ways to cheat in homegames you wouldnt need RFID, and I doubt theyd use it bc you need to put the cards over a specific spot to read them. Its so easy to just have a cooler deck brought in, marked cards, cards that can be read with special sunglasses, dealer mechanics that could deal you any two cards, collusion, the list goes on and on.

Ppl saying private games wont be hurt by this might be right, just from the simple fact that there is low supply of private games and the demand, even if dropped by this cheating scandal, might still be higher than the low supply. I personally wouldnt risk it, but I live in LA where theres plenty of games. Just be careful out there.

This does not discount the probability that Mike had a Teamviewer like screen sharing program in the graphics computer or the video switching system, to look at the resulting graphics.

Just a quick overview of what is received over RFID.
What? It wouldn't be useless at all. You get two serial numbers every hand you're dealt. You also get another 3 for every flop seen. How many hands before you'd have every ID in the entire deck with a corresponding card?

Understood and well put.

There are other players that I consider much better players who have gotten hammered as well.

After about two years it seems a bit too consistent.

Are there ways to detect RFID at a table?

If RFID was there, unmarked, and not shared with other players.... would it concern you?

A question for those who have looked at a lot of Mike Postle's sessions.

Does he still look at his phone/crotch a lot when he plays sessions where its clear he is NOT in God mode?

Justin has not been in. Also the dealers are openly talking about the situation so the theory of a gag order on employees is incorrect. Taylor and Lance have been there and fwiw they were the only dealers not talking about the situation.

Listening to Postle last night - and his reaction since this broke - I can't help but think of Chapelle's old bit: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O058OUlsCTM

This too will be headlines for another week or so and Postle, and the money, will just be forgotten about. People will shake his hand and hug it up with him at the next WSOP or WTP event they see him at and the community, again, will be worse off for it and nothing will deter the next guy from doing it because the repercussions just don't exist, they never have.

I genuinely don't understand this.

Pens I’m not sure, but you are making an awesome case for it being highly profitable and low risk to just sell ones soul and become a piece of **** scam artist in the poker world.

There’s no room of pissed of cheated cops waiting to beat anyone’s ass and take their money back. Even if Admo makes a website and pressures them to pay money back so what? Someone looks it up and ask you about it and you say “yea some sore loser I took for a bunch of cash when I was playing poker a while back decided to exact internet nerd revenge on me”. Then you both laugh and go grab a beer because outside of the gambling world who gives any ****s?

The whole thing is sort of depressing when you step back and realize people cheat and win hundreds of thousands or millions of dollars and then more or less just go on about living their day to day lives

I don't know how to check for RFID at the table. It seems like an expensive way to cheat when they could just mark the cards, collusion, dealer setups. But yes, if RFID was there and not shared it would be very concerning.

But, if it didn't appear to impact my winnings and I didn't feel like I was being soul read by some guy playing with his crotch under the table all game with his phone there. I'd probably still play in the game.

As far as Mike not superusing when Justin is out of town except for 2 sessions, I believe the answer to this can be found by the location of the poker room posted yesterday by Veronica.

As she mentioned, sometime last year the curtain was placed in between the poker table and the desk/booth. She mentions Justin and the "gentleman running the stream" were the only ones back there during the stream. Assuming this mystery "gentleman" is Taylor, I think we can conclude he was the main accomplice. I couldn't find his specific job title and am not sure if he was in the "tech room" or in the desk with Justin, but am assuming this was him for all extensive purposes. I would like any additional information on the employees involved in producing the stream and who was located where and their job titles.

Whenever Justin was on vacation, I believe he had a replacement (other floor guy who worked under him) who spent time in the desk and thus prevented Taylor from streaming to Mike. Also, whenever they needed Taylor to fill in the commentary booth, no cheating occurred.

The last open question is the method the live information was sent to Mike. Based on the PLO hand I posted last night along with other evidence. I think Mike was watching the live stream on his phone. This explains him constantly looking in his lap. I also believe he was wearing a bluetooth under his hat, but this was not the primary source of his information. I believe this was primarily used for telling him how to play hands or communicate if any unusual circumstances came up. This can explain how the changing of the cards in the 89ss was executed. Both parties would have been on the exact same page for them to execute the timing of this. As far as how the stream was technically sent to Mike, probably some type of program installed on Stones' computer.

I don't think Mike or anyone else had access to turn/river cards through bracelets, keys, etc....
Just a couple of things on this, as been thinking the same for a while.

1) It was mentioned in this thread that Taylor was also at the WSOP. I can't find where now, and I don't think it was confirmed. Be great to know for sure.

2) Taylor is definitely referred to as "the producer" by comms, and feeds them info on Mike on a few occasions.

Further, we also know from comms comments, Mike and Taylor are (also) close.

That's why the 89s hand is so important. If we know for certain it was changed in 'real time' (which, as per Berkey vid yesterday isn't certain), then there really is only one remotely plausible explanation for this.

As with many things, I'm sure Stones regs and esp commentators could provide some definitive answers.

OMC,

It's obviously very possible that the home game you play in has cheating involved. Assuming what you've said is correct, good players getting crushed and the hosts always winning are very bad signs. In general if you consider yourself a good poker player you should be wary of invites to private games. While it may be easy to become paranoid over a downswing, you shouldn't play in a game that you feel uncomfortable about. It's not worth it for your mental health

Re: Mike Postle cheating allegations (FAQ in first post)

Has Anyone Seen This???

Very under the radar stream.(PLO Stream)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=it_LQKh0Yfg

3:23:30

Justin gives up his seat at the table to allow "Jesus Postle" mike to play(I dont think i have ever seen them both play together at the same time) He also explains how he is giving Mike his own show?!?!?!!?! Justin also likes to boast how anyone who plays in the game with mike is a "Dumb ass".

3:29:00

Mike gets dealt his first hand of the night(Bomb pot)
They continue to play for one hour until the night ends with mike now in the lineup. (Plenty of jesus memes in this stream btw)

Shortly after mike enters the lineup we notice his keys are in fact on the table. Timestamp 3:36:20
I dont know for sure if he is in fact cheating during this stream but the way he is acting is very suspicious somebody should look into this.

https://youtu.be/PR6eMJZ3STk?t=2711

For anyone with the spreadsheet, who might know if Justin/Taylor was there that day, it's the session on January 9th, 2019.
I don't have the spreadsheet but I'm fairly certain Justin was still in the Bahamas on 1/9. I don't see any sign of him on the stream and this lady, seen walking from behind the curtain at 3:52:30 out to the table appears to be handling Justin's responsibilities that night. Why were Taylor and Mike able to cheat that night but normally can't when Justin is out of town? Ah we are so close to solving this thing!
