No

You need RFID cards ($500) and an RFID table

Introduce a new deck you've bought for $1

You can build an RFID table and they never introduce a new deck.

You introduce a new sealed deck, see how they react

I'm going to guess you are welcome to play in the game anytime you want.

Re: Mike Postle cheating allegations (FAQ in first post)

I would like to talk about the PLO hand in which only 2 cards are revealed (discussed in the Joey Ingram Investigation #5 video).

In addition to everything already discussed by Joey Ingram, I found this hand to be particularly revealing. On the river, Mike Postle looks away, off to the side, after the bet. This look is either a "Did he just hit that river?" look we've all made, or it is a look in the direction of his accomplice and a "C'mon man, help me, do your f'ing job, I don't know if we're ahead" look. Just an observation.

But, that's what's not revealing here. The RFID scanning technology that Joey revealed in Investigation video #4 is made for a one man operation. You use the scanning device and can switch between 2 and 4 card games. It's clear that he doesn't know the other 2 cards.

After deciding that Mike was cheating, the thought process is then:
1) Is he cheating on his own with an RFID scanning device?
2) Is he cheating on his own by hacking into the LIVE Stones Live stream?
3) Is he cheating by working with someone else?

I think we can eliminate #1 above, which tbh was the one I thought was going on. If he was using the RFID scanner on his own, he would have known all 4 cards, which he clearly doesn't based on all his actions in the hand.

That leaves either A) someone (Justin or Taylor?) has an unsecured connection that Mike can only hack into while they're in town running the show, or B) he's working with someone else.

Yea........
At LATB and Poker After Dark, the game keeps running after the stream is over. Is there proof that he would always leave right when the stream ends and that the game still runs?

Good stuff.

The audio below is when they say Mike went to watch the stream with Taylor and then later say it was actually JFK's desk he went to, and then later recant and say that players do not go into the producer's booth. I assume Taylor is the "producer" in a booth separate from JFK.

I dunno, there's a lot of guys in the 16z pool using the same strategy as Postle. They must be on to something.

Anyone been at Stones the last couple of days? Is Justin working there?

This is from several pages back (it's the T3o call vs QhJx combo draw on a flushy T88K board that Grind on My Mind found, but I have something to add...

The commentators know it's a horrible play and discuss it for ages. And then someone in the editing booth (Justin or Taylor?) tries to justify Mike's horrible call-off by telling the commentators that the shove was smaller than they thought. That suddenly ends all debate.

For anyone with the spreadsheet, who might know if Justin/Taylor was there that day, it's the session on January 9th, 2019.

FWIW, I think you could prove Mike is cheating just by looking at all the bomb pots and nothing else. He wins them with total air at a ridiculous frequency. Aren't multiway bomb pots usually won with value hands? His bluffs are completely insane... and yet they nearly always work.

Re: Mike Postle cheating allegations (FAQ in first post)

While not all RFID tables are cards are the same it was my understanding that in Nevada, intercepting the RFID is worthless as what is read is a serial number, not the card value. The serial number for each card is different and every deck uses a different set of numbers.

The graphics and logging computer receives the serial number and a lookup table for the deck in play to match the card value to the received serial number.

This does not discount the probability that Mike had a Teamviewer like screen sharing program in the graphics computer or the video switching system, to look at the resulting graphics.

Just a quick overview of what is received over RFID.

I'm going to guess you can't answer the question.

Not complaining about my losses, just wondering if it is technically feasible.

But you are right, I always have a seat.

I have beaten other local home games out of 5 figures over the course of a year.

Also, played profitably in the few cash games while visiting WSOPc and been profitable in other casino cash games.

It's just this game just gets my money every time.

Don't think it fully eliminates this possibility...maybe he wasn't using the scanner for this particular session or maybe he's using a different scanner that doesn't have the capacity to pick up all 4 cards properly.

agreed, guy has pretty much no self awareness

listen to his early pods, he gets these people who are huge fans who call in and then they are supposed to be asking him questions and whatnot but he keeps interupting them to literally tell them bad beat stories... and... it's the same badbeat stories he already told us, the podcast audience earlier - so he literally subjects anyone listening to the pod to 4-5 versions

he's not doing it as a level either, dude is out of his god damned mind

would still 100% love to have a beer with him, but he'll never be a thought leader

Yea was wondering about this. He's hemorrhaging G-Bucks/Sklanksy dollars by running near zero-equity bluffs in these pots and yet always winning.

Just stop playing in this game. It could just be variance...it could be cheating...who knows.

There are plenty of home games/private games I saw suspect and questionable things going on. They were always games I had the most losing sessions in despite my feelings the games were very soft.

There's plenty of other games to play/beat.

Totally agree with this. How is this still a private investigation, either internal or external? Hoping the gaming commission or law enforcement is just getting facts together before opening a case.

Or maybe there has been an undercover investigation for awhile and we are all screwing it up? lol

It is certainly proof and all his hands together are absolute proof but that doesn't mean you could get a jury to convict(unless it were a jury of his real peers, 40yo poker players).
