Is Postle just screwed for life now? He didn't make enough money from the scam to last very long and a rudimentary google search just destroys him. I guess he could drive a truck or work in an industry where they don't care about this stuff but I imagine he's too proud to get a real job.

That's his problem, not ours. He made his choices (and by most accounts he's been a grifter and cheater since the early 00s) and it has all finally caught up with him and you want to feel sorry for him? lol, gtfo

He has options, he is not in jail, he is not charged with a felony from this. It is a worker's market out there, he can get a decent paying job today if he wanted too.

Here is a novel idea, how about he stops being a lazy sad sack of **** and learn a skill and get a real job and support his daughter?

The next step in the forced bankruptcy process was supposed to happen back in October. Presumably that conference did occur. Does Veronica or anyone know what happened and anything else about the current status of efforts to collect from Mike?

i dont think id recognize the guy if i saw him unless he was wearing an under armour hat and doug polk was behind him doing the cha cha slide with joeychitown. pretty sure he can just continue with his poker life somewhere else if he wanted.

If he used to make one great call and one great fold a session, no one would have taken notice and he would have won less per session but could still be doing it.

With Russ and other cheaters, they get greedy and their ego makes them go to full God mode which raises suspicion.

Reminds of something I watched about a magician(and card mechanic naturally) who would travel around playing home games....they guy who taught him how to cheat the games said you only do it once per game, get greedy and they will suspect you.

The sad thing is, had he backed off and not been so stupid he could still be cheating.

There maybe cheaters who are smart enough to not get greedy who continue cheat.

I used to work the legal desk for credit/collections with a large retail store with their own credit card. We would get default judgements against deadbeats, because people are too stupid to answer a summons they are served with.

My job was to find their checking or savings account and empty it. The phone calls from people losing their **** because they were bouncing rent checks was pretty amusing, the rest of the job sucked though. On the other hand it was a target rich office environment full of mostly single girls.

While in college I did collections for a small business. Between labor costs, legal costs and the vast majority of debtors already being broke, it cost us almost $2 for every $1 recovered.

they probably didn't make money from collections but if more than 1% of our accounts went default, over 90 days past due, we got a visit from corporate asking why we were doing a bad job.

What does the reported dismissal of the bankruptcy case mean for people who want to collect money from Postle ?

Where did you see that it was dismissed? In this post VB states his motion for dismissal was denied.

I wrote about it at poker.org. The agreement to drop the involuntary-bankruptcy petition was made in mid-December, but it was not filed until Thursday and docketed on Friday. Confidentiality agreement in place so few details are available, but it appears collection attempts will continue through alternate means. Postle agreed to pay the $338 fee he incurred in battling the petition.

what exactly was the point of the interview with the ex wife about? she didn't really know anything, said something about cheating on pokerstars but didn't have any info regarding what it was etc etc

at this point it's not really about investigating the crime but just mudraking imo, i am not a defender of postle, 100% agree he cheated and very likely did in the past with his association with hamilton etc, but i doubt many people would look good when you talk to their bitter ex about them

interview offered nothing of substance, real bad look for veronica imo and hurts future credibility since she's clearly happy to run with anything anti postle

Yeah, the wife came across as a bit of a rambling crackhead, there really wasn't much point to any of it.

I couldn't watch more than a few minutes of it for that reason. Fair play to anyone that watched all of it!
