It's like heroin. You go in thinking you can handle it and not do it every day and get a habit. But then you do it more than you should and when you get away with it, you think you'll be fine.

Yeah, drugs and addiction really are a pretty good way of understanding it imo. Every hand itself is one isolated event. In the moment he thinks, well sure, why couldn't I go crazy with some great live read here? It can't be used as evidence of cheating on its own. It's just one hit! The problem is people lose sight/get addicted and do "just one hit" a thousand times in a row

Do the announcers have any potential liability if they suspected cheating and did not inform the players? What is the law here?

That's probably a bit of a stretch. Does Joe Rogan have a duty of care to MMA fighters just because he's an MMA commentator? I don't think so. But if an MMA fighter wants to sue Joe Rogan because Joe didn't tell a fighter about his suspicions that said fighter's opponent is "juicing", I guess said fighter could.

A dealer and player colluding against the house is bad, but I'd never thought so much about what a low mother****er you have to be to work at a house and help cheat poker players.

Card cheats are common as lice.

This whole scandal is so intoxicating because who would have thought someone could be such a scumbag for over a year. It would be one thing to just see the hole cards for a couple hands then stop. But this guy did it for over a freaking year and over 75 sessions minimum. I wonder how he feels on his drive to and from the casino each of those nights. You know damn well Mike is justifying what he does in his sick twisted mind. His interview in 2017 on his dream poker show reminded me of that twisted fellow from the tv show lost. Can someone find a gif?

He did make his ultimate “dream seat poker show”. He had the god seat. His dream seat poker show came to life for him in the most sickening of ways.

This story is just so intoxicating.

Ill say this, if Justin was in on it why did he post all the videos on youtube and twitch and keep them archived there? Wasnt he the controller of the youtube? Why wouldnt he just not post the videos? Why not delete the ones when mike cheated? Just makes me think the one who controls youtube and twitch is innocent and if thats justin then that is good for his defense.

Joey, as a PLO enthusiast, I encourage you to watch this if you want more evidence.

This is the funnest picture so far. A bomb pot but he's getting a massage so he sneaks a peak. and obviously he plays perfectly by betting fl/tu and x'ing river to pick off a bluff on a good run out.

Check Mike out at the left side of the screen at 2:53:02. He looks down, sees he's dominated by AA and sees one of his Kings is gone. He shakes his head and gets a look of disgust on his face...

The 2:22 hand it's like he has no fear whatsoever that anybody may notice him cheating. Clearly checks his phone, glances at his cards for half a second, mucks it. Extremely blatant, what an arrogant prick.
