Sir, so you just create an account out of nowhere to defend Justin? I don't get this.

1 - You sound like Justin, really.
2 - You defended Postle on Twitter for no reason. ''Nothing to see here''.
You promote poker games for a living and you couldn't see something wasn't right with Postle's (erratic) play patterns for years?
3 - You were in Vegas when Postle had ordinary and trivial seshs.

Something fishy is happening here.

it would be completely ridiculous to interview him like this.
IT was also ridiculous to win every big damn pot for 2 years without even attempting to disguise his play! (could've kept it going for years)

IT was also ridiculous to super-use on a stream that catalogues every hour of play online for all to see / download!

IT was also ridiculous to play the biggest guarantee / spotlight tourney on UB when you have a golden-goose super user account ... BUT THEY DID IT!

Money phucks with human brains...big part of why poker is such a great and profitable game.

It's about as hilariously obvious as this scam they have been using to rob players.

That player’s name? Albert Einstein.

Absolutely disgusting how he used his daughter as a cudgel to try to guilt Veronica. I feel bad for that girl knowing she has this degenerate psychopath as a father. Anybody bringing out their kid in this context is 100% full of **** (conjures up images of Serena except 10x worse).

And his text just proves his guilt even more. Calls cheating on his taxes "strategy"

Durrrrrrr with 7 r's not 4. Different guy. And even if all that was true it doesn't mean he didn't cheat. It's amazing how people can start to believe their own lies. Like murderers in jail saying they didn't do it. After a while they start to believe their own bullshit.

Ben Affleck: 2004 California State Poker Champion. He actually was a pretty good poker player for 2004 standards pre solvers and all that.

He could at least have cited Matt Damon instead.

As to Mike's cheating methods, there are many plausible explanations that have been put forth. The only one that is almost certain is that it involved his phone, at least some of the time. Aside from the super obvious examples of staring at it, you also have examples that were touched upon briefly, where he seemed quite skittish if he thought someone might be behind him, unnaturally turning his head around and checking each side to make sure nobody was there. I'm not one hundred percent sold on the hat being involved, but there does appear to be something there.

Early on, the actions that Mike took changing his LinkedIn account, as well as mentioning that he was always on the phone with those in production, because he was an agent on a poker app, and always transferring money back and forth might just provide us with the Duh, of course, moment, when it is revealed that a low level employee, or employees, we're involved, assuming Mike didn't act alone. Those are pretty strong hints that will seem obvious in hindsight, if he got help from someone in the production crew, and not Justin. If he acted alone, then he likely set up Justin's computer so that he could see what Justin was doing , and since Justin would stream the show and watch in real time, Mike could view everything on his own phone while Justin watched the game each night.

Now... can you tell this whole story to the authorities?

And yet this scam only went public two days ago, even after numerous poker pros, and thousands of others, had either played in the game or watched live streams. Madoff went undetected for decades.

This would be so easy. I recently won a fairly major tournament that was being streamed and we were allowed to watch the delayed stream at the final table as we were playing. The moment I won a whole bunch of dealers rushed out from the back room to congratulate me, told me they had been watching it all live and talked about a couple of hands. I found it really odd and surprising that they were able to do this.

Yea but the pro’s usually only play in a game or two.
Nobody whose any good at poker was consistently tuning into Stones Live every week.
As said before, a few hands in isolation could be explained at him getting lucky. Right time right place.
When people starting see exactly how many rediculous hands there were, it became obvious.

I’ve only skimmed this thread. How often does Postle play? Presumably if he claims to be an innocent grinder he’ll be back on the felt ASAP to prove his innocence, no?

Now, this is a valid point.

How come no one has outed him sooner? This is mind-boggling to me.

I mean, guy has been blatantly cheating for ages!

Have we poker players became complacent to cheating?

People like you, who obviously havent read every post, especially of mine, are the reasons forums like this are ghost towns, and the reason that many people with insights to add dont post. And it is also the reason that once I log out I will never post again, because I created an email account at a site I will never use, and dont remember my password there...or here.

So enjoy it while you can. People who say Hi Justin, or any other Hi James in threads were there is a view they disagree with are the worst posters on the Internet and forums, and generally have nothing of value to add. You are the laziest, worst types of posters, and you ruin forums.

FAO Joey

On your stream right now you are watching Postle play on the 9/18 and it seems he is playing this game straight.

This was the last stream before the big 10/25 game with Berkey etc.

Could it be that Postle played this way as they know that the crushers like Berkey et al would likely study streams before their game, so he knew that this video would likely be under more scrutiny than usual.

Its not high stakes poker how many people were watching this religiously. I feel like most of the people watching its because they know someone in real life either friend or family member and if they aren't on that night they don't watch.

Likely something as simple of this. Everyone is a Columbo, but as of right now there is only one thing certain, and that is that Mike is guilty. Accomplices, if any, as well as methods, are still in the speculation stage. But the answer could be simple., if the truth comes out.

For anyone watching joeys stream. Joey is asking whats different this night. I feel like this is after he got "investigated" and was told to back off for time being. It would have been sketchy if he just stopped playing after being found innocent. You can tell hes off his normal form and playing straight and hates it.
