I've heard himself say he's the best plo8 player in the world.
HE LITERALLY SUCKS AT THE GAME
The mistakes i've seen him make AWFUL
I feel more sad for the future when I hear stuff like this. Such a massive gap between
how good he thinks he is, and how good he actually is.
Complete dellusional.
His ego is beyond massive and he likes to talk about how he was the best NL player in the world 20 years ago which
1)isn't true
2) if it was who cares where is the money from it?
He actually thinks being good at poker is some accomplishment when the bottom line is poker is played for money so being dead broke and "good" at poker doesn't mean anything.
Being 53 years old and in terrible health (which I don't wish on everyone) and HAVING to grind the WSOP series on other people's money is miserable and pathetic considering how much money he had.
He thinks grinding a bunch of small field limit poker events and making a few final tables a year with almost no chips when he gets there is some big accomplishment when it isn't. It's just the law of averages. The guy plays like a mega nit and puts himself in a situation where he loses one 60/40 and he's out and thinks that's some terrible run bad.
He also thinks he's run bad at poker. He's run better than anyone who has ever sat at a poker table. He made millions of of full tilt and wants to cry about run bad. It's a joke. Him punting it away isn't running bad.
