People who still play on a microgaming site deserve to have their roll stolen as it's obvious the organization is extremely shady.

I guess that's a question to ask in a couple of years.

Looks like they are just going to start shutting sites down then stealing the players' money.

Can't say that we didn't warn the masses. I remember invading 2+2 eurolinx threads and told the people not to play there because its unsafe. About a year ago a few of us posted terrible reviews on microgaming at pokerscout. People simply don't listen. They have no excuse. I wish I was warned about battlefield poker. They had their chance.

Some people trust what looks like a legit business and/or are not aware of what's going on with those previous scandals...

You should think a little before saying stuff like that, I lost a good chunk of my whole roll and some people lost big amounts, 100% of their br was there etc....

It's a little too soon for the : "I told you so" , "you should know better" or "whatever, you deserve it"

Guys, could you perhaps try not to antagonize the players that have lost money on EL now... we should try and work together with them in either making MGS fall or at the very least try to hurt their business to a point where they might feel inclined to pay BOTH of us off...

I play in unibet. Am I in danger of losing all my roll?

Your money is very likely safe, BUT the right thing to do is probably to withdraw your money and shoot them an email that you wont give them any more of your business until they move to a trustworthy network. Remember, a part of the rake you generate is going to MGS so by playing at unibet or ladbrokes, you kind of keep these crooks afloat...

I guess our money will never be 100% safe in these poker sites unfortunately.

The only thing we can do is oppose their business model and not play on sites that run on MGS software.

There a lot of good poker sites out there, why play on a network that has allowed millions of dollars to be stolen from its players on multiple occasions.

If you have your money in sites such as Ladbrokes or William Hill it is near enough 100% safe.

Is there any reason why the liquidators cannot pay out on the money they have from Tusk.

Why can't we have whats available now and get any extra that is discovered down the line? I'm bored of the line 'we are still realising the assets'.

I for one feel extremely happy for the latest Eurolinx news. When we warned the people not to play on Microgaming because the network has stolen our money, the responses were ranging from " i don't care" and " i am just one person, it wouldnt help if i boycott the network" to " i am playing on a safe skin, you should have known better than to play on unsafe skins".

Maybe now people will finally listen AND realise how severe the whole fiasco was and Microgaming will have to pay us out, cause otherwise, since players just kept giving action action to those thieves, Microgaming didn't care about the abandoned players from the Tusk scandals...

Meh I don't wish what happend to us on anyone... i doubt that the people that got scammed at EL now will ever frequent a MGS skin again, they are in the same boat as us now...

The sad thing is traffic on MG has MAAAYBE gone down 10%, if that... people are still happily playing on ladbrokes, unibet and what not since they feel safe... Noone cares if they are giving MG a cut of their rake...

I really hope people will be more organized this time around. So far I see little of that though.

I think Unibet is one of the most reputable microgaming skins. They advertise alot atleast here and have a positive reputation and are a big organisation, unlike some other smalltime skins which I woould never put money on

If you look at the original internet poker thread I remember the pur5ple lounge rep gave us some false information early on. Something like MGS would bail us out for sure, or something to that nature.
