From Michael Phelps' first post-medals press conference earlier today, as per the New York Times:

An avid cards player, Phelps said it would be cool to participate in the World Series of Poker. “My game is a little off right now,” he said, “so I’ll have to start improving it a little bit.”

Stars or FTP should probably sign him and put him in any event he wants to play, IDK about a training site though, I doubt they would be able to compete financially but if they could somehow contact him and offer to put him into something for wearing a shirt/hat/patch it could be a very nice marketing move.

Sure have...do I care? Nope. Do I think anyone would give him a million dollars to join their poker team? Nope.

Also, the only reason I know of him is because they wouldn't shut up about him during these Olympics.

True Story:

I used to play with Phelps back in the day when he went to Uni of Michigan. He played at Casino Windsor every once and a while and needless to say I had little idea who he was the first time. The next time he left everybody was bs'ing at the table and when I turned around I saw him breaking souls on the TV behind us.

Pretty damn sick, wish I could have traded poker lessons for bff status lols

I'm not saying they fixed the olympics but for Bernard to lose like that with 2 body lengths lead with 50m to go and to Lezak of all people seems pretty fishy to me. If you ever seen Bernard swim before it would seem fishy to you too. And lets not talk about the 100m fly. It seemed like the guy was waiting for Phelps to beat him. I'm probably wrong though. I hope i am at least.
