Whatever happened to just playing the game and focusing on your own game? Why do people have to tweet and have last longer bets I don't get it. This site is going to bomb and not do well is what I predict. If a player wanted to make a last longer they would just talk to a friend and make the bet. I don't really see how this site could be successful.

This could be okay if they have large pools of players placing bets.

Say 1000 people place a bet of $10 in a last longer with $1 being raked be the site. Even if the person who lasted longest doesn't win the tournament, they're still going to win $9000.

Definitely a good way to get more money into the poker community imo.

Ignoring the topic of this thread for the moment - I am not sure why a value judgment is placed on those who work out different ways to make money in this industry.

However, on the topic of this thread.

Not quite sure that is a bold prediction .

Aside from setting up the infrastructure to handle a ton of $10 or whatever bets, they also run the risk of a company like Pokerstars not wanting to be used as a bank facility to fund a bookie running a prop bet business.

Add to that the whole lack of legality of setting up a gambling enterprise (wherever he is based now) and he may as well point that weapon toward his foot to more accurately visualize what this whole business plan is about.

This ignores the whole issue of how he will find a large number of customers that will trust him that are even interested in a heavy vig prop bet facility.

Aside from all that, tell us how you really feel about this business' chances for success.

It has about twice the chance of the breakout coin site in terms of being a huge success. It also has half the chance as well.

Any computer guys know how long it takes to build a service like this? Like I don't understand how anyone can think it is anything but an obviously bad idea. Unless the cost to execute the idea is just tiny it is horrible.
