hahahahaha. this guy posted bitching in a DSE thread about how some dealers had to sign for back to back downs, and this was unacceptable practice because what if the dealer you had was unlucky!?!?!?!?!!?

I posted LOLing about that, and got multiple histrionic PMs that I needed to leave him alone or he would have Mason permaban me, and all kinds of crazy nonsense. Guess he still had some unlucky dealer juju on him when he got his felony conviction. Nice job ScumbagMike.

Thanks for posting OP.

Really excited to see his response. I will be grossly disappointed if he tries to let this thread die by not replying. Please continue to bump.

It is just "mind bottling" that people are willing to destroy their reputation and ethical code for such an insignificant amount of money.

I was sitting on the same table with him deep in the 6-14 $1500 event. He was very rainman like and he talked all the time. ALL THE TIME. Kept talking about how he needs to stay away from the pit games.
06-24-2014 , 12:15 PM
it's amazing how ****ing stupid some people can be

even if he was actually stating at whatever ramada he claimed who gives a ****. don't give strangers 300 dollars lmao

op you deserve to get ripped off- funny thing is if he actually was in that ramada you probably would have given him money.

don't even waste your time with people begging for money.

I once gave this guy $100 at the Bike because somehow he only had $3.4k on his person to buy into a $3.5k MTT. Well, that's not the reason I gave him the $100, it's more like the reason he asked for the $100. The reason I gave him the $100 is that I was a monumental sucker. Still probably am. Anyway, he actually promised to pay me back on day 2, but I busted the tournament on day 1 and forgot about it.

A while later, I recognized him at a MTT in Florida. Seizing upon a rare opportunity to collect a debt, I approached him on break. He actually repaid me the $100. Dunno if he would've gone out of his way to find me and pay it back so I guess I just run good at getting freerolled. This was a dumb story. Also, sorry for enabling this kind of degen/scammy behavior.

The days of personal info staying that way are well behind us. It's trivial for anyone to find this information from the digital fingerprint you leave online.

Expose him to the light, I say. Make him squirm.

...Trust me... I have no sympathy for scammers and personally believe that we should ostracize anyone who scams, cheats, etc in poker. From Bonomo to mizzi... It would be nice if a poker player's word meant something again.

That being said, I can't agree with giving out his personal info until he has at least a day or more to defend himself.

Also, maybe its just because I work in NYC, but if any stranger approaches me asking for money, I simply assume its a scam and just keep on walking. How does anyone fall for this?

Michael Borovetz re WhoJedi scandal:

"Wow, so he can't afford a $300 XBox for his kids so he obviously in his mind was having money problems. I think it's safe to say that he did this but what isn't so clear is if he has done things like this before. I mean, not to make excuses for him but maybe all the travel and expenses he incurred caught up with him and with a quick thought he decided to steal the money. He did it once, thought he got away with it and then justified to himself why he should do it again.

All I know is there is really no way to know if he has ever done something like this before. "

"Right but using a chopstick device to pull money out of a toke box in an environment with cameras everywhere?????? Sounds less like desperation and more like a planned and calculated plan of theft."

I wonder how the chopstick device compares to a years-long history of scamhandling people at the airport.
06-24-2014 , 12:58 PM
Presumably a report to the airport authorities would get him 86'd from McCarran?

OMG I put a scammers public info on a forum!!!!!! I'm not your bro, fatkid.

Anyone with half a brain (probably not you) can find that information in 3 seconds with google.

This guy scams people all across the US so why are we protecting him?

I thought we were allowed to post scammers info?

The thing about most guys like this, and if you throw a rock in a tournament room youll hit at least 3, is they dont consider themselves scammers and when they run hot they really do pay back.

true thieves dont last in the the live scene because usually they give up after getting thrown out of a moving car like "scammy" sammi terani. the lowest lowlife in poker.
