When I 1st read your posts 3 weeks ago - mentioning very early in this thread about how I was a "skilled" poker player(sarcastically of course) because you quoted me in some write up mentioning flat calling a lot, I wondered to myself what that had to do about me approaching this guy Gzesh at an airport. The answer: It had nothing to do with it, it was just you insulting me in some backhanded way. Cool. Great.

3 weeks later and you quoting me writing "yes" and spinning it to fit your agenda makes my decision very easy to not respond to you again. Just for the record I never answered yes to making "no efforts" to stop scamming, did I??? No I did not. I was asked if getting hundreds at airports has allowed me to live at hotels and fly all over the country in which I answered YES.

I don't remember you jman220 as a mod on this site(thank heavens) but based on your posts in this thread I feel strongly that 2+2 is doing fine without you.

I won actually. I had gone to a couple of GA meetings before the relapse and I was depressed. I won $1800 pretty quickly and left. I went back to GA the next day and haven't gambled since.

How did you feel about it? Relieved? Happy? Excited? Weak? Confused?

You see where I'm going here? If you won, and felt bad about it, that shows you are progressing.

Relieved that I won because I was getting a little low on money, a little weak though because I had been to 2 meetings already and was feeling like I was letting the people in GA down.

Seriously though just stop. GL with everything going forward. Stop scamming. You have a long way to go in life and a lot of time to redeem yourself. Best of luck.

So awesome^^^. I love when I have a relapse and have a good win. Def. keeps me gambling a few more times until my next Casino sabbatical.

Mike, you said you could of been a great salesman. You still can without a doubt become one. Not sure if telemarketing sales is the answer, but you would of been a great story stock stockbroker but it would be very hard to get a broker dealer to hire you with felony convictions but not impossible especially a small firm selling story stocks. They may let you be a telemarketer for a broker and sell the story and then have a broker close the deal.
I can see you selling something that involves selling people on their dreams or desires or touching on their heart.
Couple of quick ideas. Selling for reputable neighborhood home contractor. I think better then the luxury car salesman which you also would be good at.
Long shot, but may be worth looking into, fund raising for United Jewish Appeal or another nonprofit. This is the hardest type of sales, because all the donors get is a tax deduction or some tax advantage cash flows. It involves selling a story that tugs on the heart whether it be UJA related or another charity like ALS or the Cancer Society. There are 100s out there and they need fund raisers. Mike Milken is involved in ALS and he is a convicted felon so it is not implausible.

Winning $1800 at paigow "pretty quickly" ='s pressing right, given your bankroll?

He's gotta do what he's gotta do to make ends meet. Don't hate the player, hate the game.

+1 to being a salesman. They will hire you even with your record (at a dealership) you're a good talker, and they are long hours, enough to get your mind off gambling.

By that comment, I can't tell who's more pathetic, you or Mike

I would agree that your ability as a poker player really has little to do with your reliance on scamming to support your living expenses for many years.

I get it that "getting hundreds at airports has allowed [you] to live at hotels and fly all over the country" for years.

"Not gambling" doesn't bring in money to pay expenses of living, traveling or not.

Since the day you first posted in this thread, have you scammed people you don't know for money, at the airport or otherwise ?

Really? This is what a person feels who is allegedly (lol) dealing with the addiction that has turned him into a career criminal? This nausea-inducing thread is pretty incredible. The complete and total lack of self awareness of our miscreant/sociopath/unwashed street hustler/protaganist is chilling...not a flicker of consciousness.
i've refrained from criticizing the pro-mike people here but ill say again nobody is doing him any favors by offering advice on how to get a job or giving him encouragement on fighting his addiction while ignoring his abominable character. he is, let's be honest, inscrutably flawed. if at this point gambling only causes him to feel "a little weak" then he no chance at change. his rants against the "haters" are appalling. his admission that he feels a rush when stealing from people tells us all we need to know. i'm terrified that mike might actually publish a book some day: the thought of posters writing about how they were "moved" or "inspired" by his story makes me cringe

Mike, as many others have stated, I think you have a bright future in sales.

Sorry your first day at Comcast went so bad. **** that guy for trying to leave the #1 service provider without explanation...

can we cut and paste PMs? want to share the hysterical one PSUMike sent me lashing out and letting me know what a lame person I am. Ban this clown please

Mike has PMed everyone in this thread so it would be interesting but not if it results in Mike being banned. He doesn't deserve that.

Really??? The PM was hysterical and lashing out and calling you lame?? Hmmmm, I don't think that was the case so I will cut and paste the pm for all to see. I had sent the same one to 1 other person and felt it was applicable to you as well. Enjoy.

I am certainly not perfect by any means, just a guy who has just made some mistakes in life and made bad choices. I didn't wake up 1 day and say to myself "let me scam people at airports". I just became desperate over the years and the crap just evolved. Really easy for you to judge someone when they poured their whole life story on a message board. I can only imagine that you are a perfect person who has never done anything bad in your life.

Please tell me how your passage into sainthood goes. I would love to hear about it.

Thank you Grind but let me be clear, I haven't PMed everyone in this thread. I have PMed a few of the haters as well as a few of the guys showing support. Just wanted to clarify that.
